Doing things that make my heart happy – Island Edition - Part 12: Slapen op Klein Curaçao met @missannboattrips 🇨🇼🛥️

Eerlijk, dit is een van mijn bucketlist-dingen die ik al 3x heb gedaan, waarvan nu de tweede keer met Miss Ann. De eerste keer was survival met m’n studentenhuis op het strand toen ik 19 was, BUT EVEN THAT WAS AMAZING.

Maar goed, prinsesje vindt dit toch even wat fijner. Weetje, boujee en al. Je kan dus een overnachting op Klein Curaçao boeken en deze hidden gem is allang niet meer hidden, dus deel ik hem graag!

Je bent niet helemaal alleen, want er is altijd een beheerder en je wordt verzorgd met avondeten. Nu hadden wij daar alleen zelf voor gezorgd. Normaal slaap je gewoon op dunne matrasjes (dus nee, dit was wel princess treatment💅) + neem je eigen slaap dingen mee! Maar heerlijk slapen op het strand onder de sterren én met het geluid van de zee op de achtergrond. I mean, if this doesn’t give you zen vibes, I don’t know. Then therapy is the only option🙃

Ik kan dit echt elke maand doen, maar goed, het is niet gratis, helaas. En ook nog geen Hans (blijf je nou👀). Maar wat heb ik genoten. Masha danki, Miss Ann, de crew en natuurlijk de beheerder. You brought my glow back in these busy times🤍🙏🏾

Ayeee did anybody ask for real Curaçao guide that gets you PLACES and intentionally highlights locally owned businesses?🙋🏽‍♀️ I got you, save this one ☑️

Curaçao is a wonderful vacation destination yet I hear of tooooo many people that stayed in JanThiel area or went partying along the Mambo strip, and felt like they were not even in the Caribbean 😭
It’s probably because they didn’t know where to go.

Don’t worry, you do!
These slides will save your stay ➡️

If I was to host people for a week, these are the must-sees that I’d offer them.

Better yet: next year during the Feminine Flow Dance Retreat in March we’ve integrated a couple of these activities in the program 🤭

Nothing flashy, no dance shoes 👟, no 15 second reel but a 3 minute, unedited social dance from start to finish 🎬

🎤🤭With ofcourse some of my hot takes as a Yu di Korsou who loves Bachata with her whole bum!! From someone who sees the cultural shifts happening within the dance scene yet stays optimistic that the Caribbean roots should and always will ALWAYS be honored 🙌🏾
