I used to tell people you’d live to 25 just to spite me as a joke, but always believed it to be true and secretly wishing you’d defy the odds and live to a solid 20. So to only get 6 of your 8 years with you I feel absolutely fucking robbed. I’m such a firm believer in everything happens for a reason but I’m struggling with this. You had the biggest personality I’ve ever seen in a cat and just felt so full of life. You were my shadow, always there to greet me at the door and my favorite morning 5am alarm clock. Thanks for being my best friend, never failing to put a smile on my face and for your spicy love. Thank you for fighting so long for me. The hole in my heart feels immeasurable but I know it’s nothing compared to the love I have for you and the gratefulness to have had you in my life, even if it felt too short. You loved being the center of attention, swatting people’s hands for fun, chewing any plastic you could get your teeth on, morning snuggles after I got back from the gym, and fresh clothes from the dryer. I hope you’re enjoying endless Churu, roast duck, green peas, and every carb imaginable up there. I miss you so much and love you my bandito, my bubba, my sour patch kid and my spicy little boy. by @rachchi
