After a hectic senior year, I have finally had time to reflect on the wonderful experiences that made this year memorable. Here is Part 1 of catching up on important experiences.“The Heidi Chronicles”Playing Heidi was an absolute honor. I learned so much as a performer and as a person through this play. I want to thank every person who was involved, on stage, on the technical side, or who came and supported us. This would not have been possible without you.Exploring the question, “Can you have both a family life and an artistic/professional career?” was a profound message at the time of this play’s publication and remains prevalent to this day. Thank you, Wendy Wasserstein, for a beautiful and complex script. There is no bigger honor as an actor. Thank you to my cast mates for the wonderful memories of rehearsals and laughs we shared. I love you all. Thank you to our director, Mr. Matros, for this opportunity and for his continued support and guidance throughout the production. Thank you to Ms. Gobetz, for her unbelievable dedication to the construction and painting of the sets for this show. Lastly, THANK YOU to Peter Evangelista, my absolutely phenomenal acting teacher, who spent countless lessons and extra time with me helping to work through this script. It has been an honor to work with an amazing cast and our incredible director Mr. Matros and incredible assistant directors @danielle_acting and @evangelina.roseee on “The Heidi Chronicles” by Wendy Wasserstein! This play is for anyone who has a dream and sometimes feels alone while following it. This play is for anyone who is trying to balance multiple aspects of their life. And, this play is for anyone who is looking for something to do on April 12th or 13th! And who is open to watching a beautiful story unfold.
