“I can’t believe childhood is over”
“It was going to end one way or another. And what a happy end.”

I’ve been feeling sentimental about childhood recently and I’m not sure why. Maybe it’s because the people that made it memorable are now countries apart. Now the phone calls are planned around 8hr time differences, and the hang outs are out of the budget. Maybe it’s because I can’t get up and go to my sisters room next door, or play outside with my brother anymore. But there’s also a sweetness about the ending. New faces and hearts to love. Not taking for granted the time we get. Having different pieces of home throughout the world. Being apart of Rowan’s childhood and filling it with things that we missed out on. We’re growing up but we’ll never grow out of eachother. Living separately, but still out of the love, hurt, and home that shaped us.

To: Mikala, Rebekah, Jacob, and now to Julia and Rowan too. My home!! I love you all and I don’t say that enough. To more sibling adventures and more people to come along side us❣️ by @rachel.lanferman

my best friend since ever got married and I had the honor of standing by her side!!! Claire Joy I love you forever. You have marked my life in ways that only you and I know. Carter, I got the joy of growing up with her and now it’s your turn to grow old with her!! Don’t know how I feel about sharing her now, but I’m honored to do it with a man who loves her so well!
