Becoming a better person isn’t about proving people wrong, it’s about finally proving to yourself that you’re capable of more.

There comes a point where you stop shrinking yourself to fit people’s opinions, stop explaining your growth, and stop asking for permission to change. Not everyone will understand the changes you make.

I’ve learned that becoming better means letting go of the version of you that needed validation from everyone else. It means protecting your peace, setting boundaries without guilt, and doing the work even when nobody claps for you.

People will talk whether you stay the same or change, so you might as well become the person you’ve always wanted to be. Remember what is important to you.
