Hi, I'm Rachel — here’s my story for those who are new! (The short version)

At 26, I realized the corporate life wasn’t for me. I had a finance degree from a good university, but the only job I could get was bartending. So, I started a running events company with a friend — we produced charity 5Ks and Half Marathons across Southern California. People always said, “I didn’t know that was a job!” I did that for 15 years.

In 2020, everything changed. My husband and I hit the road in an RV to see what else was out there. We landed in a small rural town with no grocery store — and opened a natural food store supporting local farms.

Jobs are limited in rural areas, but we fell in love with the lifestyle. I needed to make it work financially, and that’s where high-ticket affiliate marketing came in — my side hustle that supports our life and values.

Now I encourage others — especially young people — to go for what they want. There are no rules. You don’t have to follow a specific path, and it’s never too late. Through it all, I’ve stayed a present, homeschooling mom.

If you’re interested in work you can do from anywhere (alongside your passions) — and that aligns with your values — send me a message and see if it’s a fit! Ask me anything.

If you actually read all this, I’m impressed 😁 by @rachelhiner

I just ask the questions here 💁‍♀️

Any other questions? 🪰🐓

Disclaimers: it stinks, needs to be out of the rain and obviously won't work in winter. But we definitely got them a lot of extra protein. Next summer will continue to improve the systems!
