i've always felt a little older, sometimes i feel younger. sometimes i feel ahead, sometimes i feel behind. but now i'm just trying to embrace who i am, who i was made to be, right here, right now💫 by @rachelposty

Sunrise 🌅 by @rachelposty

September! my favorite month. it's like the subliminal transition time between summer and fall. it's cooler in the mornings but hot in the day. there's more of a breeze. lately i've been watching butterflies & moths. like really pausing to watch them do their thing. there are so many kinds and varieties-each one unique and beautiful, serving a purpose. also--pondering this giant change they undergo before actually becoming able to take flight and be free. the preparation they do ahead of time, before all of that. then, this unstoppable push forward into the next season. (and they don't even live that long???) isn't creation an interesting thing, that we all follow this ebb and flow, this cadence, this inevitable change? this gentle push forward, like a love tap, saying hey, it's time for newness and possible discomfort but also growth and excitement. a little unfamiliar, a little tough to navigate maybe. i like to go back to my old habits and the familiar comforts. but maybe the next season will look a little different than seasons past, or what we were used to before. that can feel both scary and hopeful. either way, i'm working on being open to what's happening next, beyond my comprehension, outside the tiny box of my mind and my little life. going with the flow, like our lepidoptera friends 🦋

and how could i put a song over these incredible nature sounds? don't worry, i didn't 😇 by @rachelposty
