I was at the Re-Opening of @roanokemtnadv and met Steve who is turning his passion for a sharp edge into a small business. He doesn't have a website yet so I thought I would try to help get the word out.

Now catering to restaurants and homeowners in the Roanoke area, Steve can come to you to pick up your knives, sharpen them, and drop them off the same day!

Another day at the office! I have LOVED the last month of working with @oldesalembrewing and @osbcmarketstreet as a social media manager. The team they've put together is full of incredible people that all want to see the place succeed. Everyone seems really comfortable being themselves and knowing that they can count on each other for seemingly anything. It's so refreshing after 10 years of corporate hell!

this was really fun to do, although I meant to make it all land right on top of my head. The people that walked by were pretty tickled 😂

@chaoscornerva is a mobile paint splatter studio- they can come to you if you have the space! It's a fun and whimsical way to express yourself creatively and have a blast while doing it.

With all that's going on in the world, it was a really great outlet to fling paint against a wall as hard as you can. Miranda is a wonderful FACILITATOR OF CHAOS, & we all had such a great time

I almost didn't go to the @blueridgeweddingpros event but I'm so glad I did! I got to meet Chelsea from @onefinedayva and I booked a job filming content for her. I had thought I wasn't ready to break into the wedding professionals' space, but that was just me doubting myself, something I have been checking myself about every time it happens.

It pays to take a chance. Start before you're ready. There's more than enough work to go around for everyone and you deserve a seat at the table. 🤗

Sweetie, if you want to film something just do it!
Were you also raised to "not cause a scene" or not take up space? It's taken a lot of healing to not care about what a stranger in public thinks and I'm definitely not all the way there (I mean, I try to respect the vibe) But I know I would've regretted not creating what I wanted to create out of a fear of the opinion of someone I will NEVER SEE AGAIN 😂🤸🏽‍♀️

Also helps to have a bestie like @roxy_1021 in your life to encourage your shenanigans 👯‍♀️

Our Last Photoshoot Was With The Talented @rache.for.the.stars @rachelrivasmedia … absolutely loved the denim and white look for this. Love our group photo I think it’s so hilarious seriously and silly!

I went to the @blueridgeweddingpros networking event last night as a content creator. I don't usually get social anxiety, but I was so nervous to walk into a room full of people I didn't know that I shoved a bunch of candy in my mouth before I went in, and then I literally couldn't talk to them for a few minutes 🥱

But it's Roanoke, which is filled with people I adore, particularly this one @blossomandblissflowers 💕 thank you for encouraging me to go!

Food from @lexcatco was PERFECTION.
Do you see that tiny taco? How could I say no? It was the perfect night to test if I was allergic to avocado the way I thought and I'm not! 😂🙏🏽
Pretty cool that a bunch of vendors participated so we could see & sample their work 🥰

Flowers by @blossomandblissflowers were so beautiful and creative as usual. love the fruit

Got to see my girl @enchantedgardenva whose work also consistently takes my breath away 💐

And got to see one of my favorite people, and we weren't in hiking gear for once 👗🥾

I met some new people too, and I was REALLY comfortable after a half a glass of wine. I hardly ever drink anymore and it's a nice feeling to have become a cheap date. 😂

By the time I left, three people were interested using my contact creation services. I am swamped with work right now in the best possible way, but I'm excited for what this could mean in the future.

I have always loved being around people. I think I get it from my dad who is the most charismatic man on the planet. It comes in handy when I have to direct people and ask them to do things they hadnt planned on doing that day 😂

I was over at @thebibliopub filming their amazing no soliciting sign made by Erica of @bluehoneyrose for work, but when I saw Mikayla finishing up her Now Open sign on the windows of the @the.artisans.alley I said SKRRRRTT 🤌🏽😍

She's got a really cool thing going over there - over 50 local artisans and she is looking for more. Grand opening party is tomorrow from 12-5!

I was walking down the street the other day and I saw a woman painting a Now Open sign on 5th St. It's called @the.artisans.alley and the concept is so cool that I wanted to help the owner Mikala, get the word out!

Stop by their Grand Opening party tomorrow, September 5th, from 12 to 5 PM if you're into all things artsy and local. The Artisan's Alley Is home to over 50 local artists' wares and has a huge event space where they host workshops and is available to rent! Let's support this woman-owned small business and the artists she's stocked her cool storefront with, right here in town!
