Where poetry meets paint. 🎨 Meet Rachel Schultz, a featured artist in our Issue 03 Gallery!

Rachel Schultz’s practice spans various subject matter, from domestic scenes to the purely abstract and ethereal. A hum of psychological and existential questions lie beneath each seemingly innocent and tender work. Schultz works between NYC and St. Paul.

We are honored to have her painting, “Sounds Of An Eternal Song,” 2022, as part of our Issue 03 Gallery. To learn more about Rachel and her work, visit @rachelschultzstudio. 🧡 Pick up a copy of Issue 03 of Collective to see the full gallery of featured local artists!

Soren turned FIVE (8 days ago 😂🌪️). My baby boy!!! I can’t believe the time. He came 6.5 weeks before his actual due date and has been marching to his own drum ever since. The most creative, most imaginative, intensely loving, dramatic, and curious. Caring, compassionate, the absolute kindest friend. There is no one like you Soren, grateful for your whole beautiful self. by @rachelschultzstudio

A very special painting for a very special project. Something magical happens when two creative practices with very different mediums come together especially when the base is friendship and trust ❤️ food which is ephemeral and oil painting which is permanent (I have lost many good pants to that reality!). Yet both creative endeavors honor the practice of presence and working with your hands. Excited to have this painting on the cover of Lisa’s new cookbook zine and in awe of her insane dedication and delicious creations.

If you’re in the Twin Cities come to the launch party on June 4th @shopidun .. if not look out for them online shortly after! more to come 🪽🪽🪽 by @rachelschultzstudio
