A little something I recently wrote that came out freely without me overthinking. I’m proud of this piece and proud of my little drawing that I drew. 🙂

If you’re reading this. Know that it’s okay to express pain. To be honest, if you really think about it, pain is what connects us with others on a deeper level.

Connection is something I love. If it weren’t for connections, what would this world be? It would be lifeless.

In the middle of drawing this piece I was aware of the doubt trying to creep into my thoughts, but I quickly shifted that doubtful mindset into positive thoughts of what I like about my little art piece.

For one, art isn’t supposed to be perfect. In fact nothing and no one is perfect. Including myself. I’m by far the last to be perfect. I actually like my scars, bruises, aches and so forth. They make me who I am and am proud to share my story to help inspire others.

Second, I actually like this piece. I’m proud of it and proud of myself. It’s simple yet it speaks if you look closely.

Last but not least, I added a little hidden puzzle to this piece. If you notice what it is comment what you think it is. 🤔

A little writing thought that came to mind. Happy reading. 📖 🧐

When I observe this photo, what do I see you might ask? I see lots of inspiration. It makes me reflect on how one can relate to the beauty and negative aspects of the ocean. As I see a spectacular view of breaking waves, it makes me feel calm knowing that even through the pressure that might build up in one’s life, the calm is right around the other side of the wave. The waves are what inspires me the most, because I think some can relate to the ocean as having a negative side to them. Yet, the beauty of their side shines within them as well. Admit it, we all have our fair share of being negative. No one is squeaky clean, perfect out of being negative, we just become aware of the negative things we might say whether that’s about ourselves or life in general and shift our mindset to something better. Here’s to being aware and improving ourselves. 🌊💖

Ever have a gigantic dream so wild that no one believes it will happen ?
The only one who believes it will happen is you, and yourself only.

It’s not just a phase.
It’s not a trend.
It’s not fake.

Baby, it’s the real deal and it’s definitely happening.

If you are reading this far, please know that your dreams matter just as much as mine. Some dreams take a bit longer than some and that too, is okay.

Sometimes we might feel pressured and overwhelmed from life in general. However, when stuck in the pressure, do your best to put your headphones on, ignore the noise and focus on your path. When I say focus, I mean hardcore focus to where you gotta say goodbye to your phone till you complete at least one or two task from your goal list.

I know it’s not easy.
Take it hour by hour.
Day by day.
And I promise once you see that goal crossed off the list, you’ll feel proud of yourself. :)

Remember: The one’s who are hating on your life path continue to hate on a light that shines brighter than them. Continue to be yourself and be the dream you always wanted.

Sometimes the most dazzling thing can be the most eye opening moment of your entire life. It can be from a bench in which I saw and remembered to something as dazzling as an expensive travel bag. For me it’s the littlest details I notice. 🧐

Story time:

Travis the drummer for @blink182 is the root of my connection that I have with my brothers and a close family friend who is like another brother to my siblings and I.

Obviously blink-182 has a special place in my heart. Their music is and always connects me back to when one of my brothers introduced me to their music when I was about 11/12 years old. I remember when my brother joined the Navy and was deployed overseas I missed him terribly. To where I felt a deep sadness. I wasn’t used to my brother being far away for a long period of time. But what I did during the months my brother was away on assignment, I would listen to blink to help me feel a sense of normalcy. 2001 was the year blink-182 helped distract my adolescent mind from the reality of what truly was happening during that year for my family and I. The moral of the story is that no matter where I am. No matter if my brothers and I might be separated due to our busy lives. Blink-182 and Travis will always be the root to connecting my siblings and I back together for a great time and fun memories. It’s always a good time talking about music with my brothers. 💙🎶🎶🎶

Music is the connection we all need and this is where my connection starts. ❤️

(The remaining blink-182 short videos I took were at my first blink-182 show with my bro and our close family friend, at the SoFi Stadium show in Los Angeles on July 6th, 2024).

The best part about my true story is it’s not over. It’s just the beginning. :)
