Happy new year! 🎊💗💫 Here are some freehand doodles I created in 2025 that I like :)

2025 was a year of recalibration and exploration as I gave myself the space to create without pressure and explored how art will show up in my life post-grad. While I have put pursuing art full-time on the backburner, art will always have a place in my life. Now I do it more for fun to capture memorable moments and process experiences.

In this new year I look forward to creating and posting more art that captures special moments and feelings, makes me smile without a need to always be so profound haha, and little snippets of my life that feed my artist soul. Cheers to a year filled with inspiration, exploration and discovery. Thanks for coming along for the ride :) Excited to share a film festival and China trip recap soon ❤️

We are happy to share that Tule has been screened at 25 film festivals, additionally shown to over 20,000 students through school programs, and collecting awards along the way🥰💫

While our film will continue to show in a few more festivals and events, this post marks the end of our main festival run.
We are deeply filled with gratitude that we have had the opportunity to share our film in so many supportive spaces. Thank you to everyone who has come up to us at screenings to share how they connected with the film and thank you to the festivals for giving us a platform to share our message.

What started as a seed of an idea🌱, has grown into something far more beautiful than we imagined and we are excited to see the film continue to stretch its branches when we officially release the film in just 4 days on July 26th!🌲

Around a year ago from today marks when we screened Tule to a theater audience for the very first time at the Hammer Theater in San Jose. Since then, Tule has gone on to screen in over 25 festivals around the world, as far as New Zealand and Finland! 🌎💫

Let us look back on some of the wonderful memories we have created since then, attending CA film festivals in Los Angeles, Nevada City, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, and San Jose. Thank you to all the festival organizers who have welcomed us and to all the inspiring filmmakers we have connected with for making our festival run an experience we will never forget ❤️

One of the best experiences is being fully immersed in a vibrant sunset, seeing everything around you absorbed in delicious pinks and oranges, and watching the colors change as the sun drops past the horizon 🌅✨

This piece is based on the beautiful pink sunsets seen along West Cliff in my home town of Santa Cruz County. Pink has always been one of my favorite colors. My whole childhood room was pink and when my mom wanted me to repaint it with a new color, I obviously chose a slightly more purple pink to replace it.

This “Sunset Seascape” piece is one of six watercolor prints that are now available for purchase. The prints are all 5x7, printed on archival cold press watercolor paper and in limited quantities so be sure to scoop one up for yourself. Happy week of thanks! 🧡🍂

As I finally dust off my insta feed (can you believe my last post was nearly 3 years ago?!), I want to say that I am so grateful to everyone who has continued to support my art through the years. Whether you have sent me photos of my art hanging on your walls, or replied to my stories, every gesture keeps me looking forward to sharing more of my work with you.

If you are looking to add that final pizazz to your gifts or looking for a very functional gift while supporting a local artist…look no further because I am releasing a small batch of greeting cards available for purchase :D I have 6 card designs, all printed on thick card stock with a smooth, velvety feel. Each card comes with a white envelope and measures around 4”x6”.

All of the illustrations are inspired by CA native local flora and fauna! Almost all of the illustrations, with the exception of the bluebird, was hand painted with watercolor, scanned, and edited to retain that satisfying textural look. It has always been a dream of mine to share with you products featuring things that I love. Now you can have something I’ve created, and share the beauty with your loved ones :)

🌷 Cards are $6/each, every 5 cards get 1 free, orders over $60 get free shipping. (Tax calculated at "checkout")

We are thrilled to share our most recent film festival acceptances! Our film has been traveling around the world to places like San Francisco, Los Angeles, Toronto, and even New Zealand! 🐟🌱✨

🌟Festival spotlight: Next week we will be at the Naturetrack Film Festival in Goleta, CA, an amazing nature-focused festival from October 11-13th. Keep an eye out for our event experience in our stories.🌴🌞

In addition to these wonderful acceptances, the film has been featured at special Native community events such as the 2024 Annual Tule Boat Race Festival, SJSU Native Graduation, and more. We are so grateful to have touched so many hearts with our film and we cannot wait to continue spreading our film far and wide. More updates to come!

Let's take a look at some of Tule's early development! Our team began by visualizing intimate, pollution-free moments between nature and the Pomo people of Clearlake. Within these thumbs, we emphasized an overall tone of harmony through their peaceful interactions.
