fourth annual fall family trip 🤎🍂

after romie was born, we took a little family trip to the mountains to see the changing leaves, and jesse and I decided then that it would become our family tradition every year.

now here we are, four years later, watching them grow up bigger and bigger every fall. 🥹 these little trips together are some of my favorite memories. fishing, playing games, swimming, exploring, and just being together.

and this year feels a little extra special knowing it’s our last fall trip as a family of four. I can’t believe we’ll be adding another little one to the crew soon. 🤎 by @rachgranados

we celebrated our mila turning FIVE yesterday 😘🎂💖

i’m so happy I get to be her mom. 🥺 she has grown up sooo much this past year, and somehow, every single year, I find myself saying, this is my favorite age with her. but five feels extra special.

she’s no longer a baby or a toddler… she’s a KID. and watching her little personality unfold into the person she’s becoming is one of my greatest joys.

she is easily one of my favorite people to be with. she loves her people with every bit of her, feels everything deeply, has the sweetest little heart, and somehow manages to make everyone around her smile. she is fearless in the swimming pool and brings so much fun wherever she goes.

mila, you are so deeply loved. being your mama is one of the greatest gifts of my life, and I can’t wait to watch you become more and more YOU with every year that passes.

happy FIVE years, baby love. 💖🎂✨ i love you more than you’ll ever know. by @rachgranados

I’ve come to understand over the years how valuable time is for planning beautiful sessions.

I want my clients to arrive ready to melt into their family.

No performance.
No worries about behavior.
Not a thought towards the camera.

Just fully invested in a sliver of time their kids will remember as feeling deeply loved.

That is only done through planning - taking the time to ask questions and then really listen.

Helping you see why some images make you smile. But others make you pause.

That’s the investment. I don’t just arrive with a camera and take a good photo.

I arrive with 26 years of experience, inspiration and love for this craft so that I can create portraits that will one day feel like a dream.
