🚨 HERLINGS TAKES A SHOT AT KTM. Jeffrey Herlings has opened up in an interview with @ziggosport about his final months with KTM, and he didn’t hold back. According to Herlings, the contract negotiations did not go well and he felt he was not treated properly by his former team. He claims he was put on a standard bike and left without a mechanic in the final months of the season. Now, after winning the 2026 MXGP World Championship with Honda HRC, Herlings says it makes the title even more satisfying. “To then win the title with a new brand and a new team that genuinely believed in me is obviously amazing.” Herlings also pointed out the level of trust Honda placed in him: choosing him after leaving five-time World Champion Tim Gajser out of their 2026 plans. KAWASAKI HAS A PROBLEM. 🟢 Romain Febvre is gone. After seven seasons with Kawasaki, one MXGP World Championship and countless podiums, Febvre is moving to Ducati for 2027. His final race in Kawasaki green came in Australia. And replacing him hasn’t been straightforward. Kawasaki reportedly explored Kay de Wolf and Guillem Farrés as potential options for the MXGP seat, but neither deal materialised. De Wolf is staying with Husqvarna, while Farrés will step up to MXGP with Triumph. That leaves Pauls Jonass. Current reports indicate Jonass is expected to remain with KRT for 2027, potentially as Kawasaki’s only MXGP factory rider. Nothing has been officially confirmed yet.
