Final leg of Chile - Valparaiso & Vina Del Mar 🌊
Before the construction of the Panama Canal Valpo was a worldwide hub and the busiest port city in South America. It’s got the perfect mix of authentic grit and character that we love to explore while traveling. Chile stop #3. Three-ish hours south of Santiago lies the Colchagua valley, a fertile agricultural valley boardered by the Andes to the east and the coastal range to the west. You’ll find small rural towns, sprawling hectares of peaches, nectaries, cherries and vineyards - lots of vineyards. Some of the best wine-grape growing conditions in South America and gathering notoriety throughout the world. Lots of exploring from farm walks to markets and wineries. Jasper hit 12 wineries/vineyard tours 😂 made it in another gondola, met some alpacas, ate a lot of fruit and got a lot of attention from old Chilean ladies. by @racingrevilo

Winter break from the farm - grab the toddler and dog, we’re headed to South America! 🇨🇱✌️
Part 1, Santiago>Casablanca

Lots of firsts on this trip; Jaspers first subway, gondola, very tall buildings, South American sun and empanadas.

Santiago was a city I spent a decent amount of time while backpacking in my mid 20’s. To return as a dad at almost 40 was special. From visiting San Cristobal hill & wandering the barrios to exploring the vineyards of Casablanca, Jasper seemed to dig it. (And so did Wilson & Elise!) taken in Cerro San Cristóbal, Santiago by @racingrevilo

5 months post surgery and almost 12 months since my ACL/MCL/meniscus took me off the bike 😬
Things are finally starting to feel pretty decent and I’m excited to be back chasing inside lines on loose corners in no time 🤘

A torn ACL/MCL this past May meant a full season off the bike so things could heal enough to work our busy season

Surgery tomorrow to finally set things straight. Should have another good recovery left in the tank, eager to finally get the process underway and start building back. Hopefully be back to all the fun things by June 🤘🫰
