I used to measure my paintings by how people responded to them. How many noticed, how many stopped, how much feedback came back.
This one didn’t get much—and honestly, I’m incredibly okay with that.

There’s something beautiful about reclaiming the part of creating that was always meant to be mine. Making art at my own pace, following my own curiosity, and creating not just for the people who might stop and look, but for the joy of making it in the first place.

It feels good to slow down and appreciate the little things—the techniques that have shifted, the subtle changes in style, the choices I make now that I didn’t make years ago.

Maybe growth isn’t always about becoming something completely new. Sometimes it’s simply noticing how far you’ve come, and learning to love the journey along the way.
