Making art as @radamroyce
’til death, we do art.
POSTS STORIES REELS
I’ve circled around art my whole life. Somehow, no matter where life has taken me, it keeps pulling me back. I was raised by art. It gave me somewhere to go, something to explore, and a way to make sense of things when I needed it most. Recently I’ve stopped fighting that pull and stepped fully back into my practice. Not to force anything just to make, explore and enjoy what art has always given me. This feels like the beginning of something I should have listened to a long time ago. If you want to follow where it goes - @radamroyce by @radam_royce
Why I’m Doing @20hoursfor20talk Business is a wild game. Some days you feel unstoppable, other days it can tear you down. It’s exciting and fulfilling, but it can also be exhausting and lonely. We don’t talk enough about that part. As entrepreneurs, we’re taught to keep quiet when we’re struggling. We hide the failures because it feels embarrassing. I’ve done that and it’s painful. But hiding doesn’t help. It eats at you, and it can break people. We’re taught to keep quiet about the hard parts – the failures, the doubts, the losses. And yes, sometimes that silence feels like power, like we’re holding it together. But staying quiet can also make us suffer. We are all human, and those struggles are part of having skin in the game. The truth is, 1 in 5 Australians experience mental illness every year, and suicide is still the leading cause of death for Australians aged 15–49. Too many are suffering in silence, thinking they have to keep it together. This challenge 20 hours of silence, no technology, just me and my thoughts is my way of standing up for those who can’t yet speak. For those who feel their struggles or “failures” make them less. I want to remind you: your mental health matters more than any business win. If you can, please donate, share, or support through @aether_care and help us raise funds and awareness for youth mental health. by @radam_royce
Packing orders today feels different. It’s not just about clearing shelves it’s about clearing space, clearing my mind, and making room for what’s next. Running a small business hasn’t been easy. I’ve battled with the ups and downs, and honestly, there were moments I wasn’t sure if I could keep going. But every order, every message, every bit of support reminds me why I started. This isn’t just about @aether_care . It’s about resilience, mental health, and starting fresh. On September 6th, I’ll be taking on the @20hoursfor20talk challenge — because just like our products, sometimes we all need a clean slate. “I’ll be silent for 20 hours… and it’s not just for me.” Running a business can look like freedom from the outside but behind the scenes, it’s one of the most rewarding and loneliest roads you can walk. Even with support, there are days you feel like you’re out there searching for the path alone. This year has tested me financially and mentally. It’s reminded me that looking after our mental health is just as important as looking after the work we pour ourselves into. On 6 September, I’ll be taking part in the @20hoursfor20talk Challenge — no talking, no technology, just me, a notepad, and time to reset. Between now and then, I’m tying this journey to a big shift for Aether Care. We’re clearing out everything 80% off all products not just to make way for the next chapter, but as a symbol of starting fresh. Part of every sale will go directly to my fundraiser for @20_talk , helping support mental health programs for young Australians. If you’ve ever supported me, now’s the time to get involved grab a product, share the campaign, or even just check in with someone you care about. 📅 Sale announcement is live today @aether_care 🖤 Let’s clear the decks and clear our minds together. 🔗 Link to donate is in my bio or purchase @aether_care products to help donate. #MentalHealthAwareness #EntrepreneurLife #20Talk #CleanSlate #AetherCare by @radam_royce
After 25 years of building brands from a clothing label Gfted I started at 17 with my brother, to running food ventures, to co-founding my current company @aether_care I’ve learnt through wins, losses, and everything in between. Next week, I’ll be sharing what I’ve learnt with the young creatives at @swancityyouth as part of the CAN program a powerful initiative helping young people shape their voices through music, visuals, and now, branding. This is my first step in teaching what I know. I’m proud to be running two branding & design workshops where we’ll explore storytelling, identity, logo design, and even press their logos onto their own line of merchandise. Grateful to contribute, honoured to pass it on, and excited to help them build their own world through creativity and purpose. Let’s go. 👊 Thankyou @halfotos for the photo and @thepyramidarchitect inviting me to this program. 🤝🏾 #CANProgram #SwanCityYouth #StrangeTimes #BrandingWorkshop #GiveBack #CreativeYouth #AetherCare #StartOfSomething by @radam_royce
We need to give a f*ck. About what we own. How we treat it. The kind of world we’re building. At Aether Care HQ, it’s not just cleaning tips — it’s a mindset. It’s real talk about business, purpose, and why caring is a radical act in a throwaway culture. This is what it looks like when you build something that matters. Who cares? We care. And we’re just getting started. FULL EPISODE ON YOUTUBE LINK IN BIO. #GiveAFck #WhoCaresWeCare #AetherCare #PurposeDriven #CareCulture #LifeAtAether #SustainableByDesign by @radam_royce
Since 17, I’ve been building clothing brands, food ventures, cleaning services, and products. Every step has been a lesson in grit, patience, and self-belief. Between Aether Care and Sugiarto Studios, the balance of time and money has been a constant battle. I’ve wanted to quit more times than I can count. But I haven’t. Because something inside me still believes in what I’m building. I just want to create things that matter. And I know that takes consistency, focus, and heart. So if you’re reading this support your friends. Help them grow. Share their work. Show up. Our time here is short. And if we don’t support each other, who will? Til death, we do art. @sugiarto_studios @aether_care by @radam_royce

2024 was solid, but 2025 is about taking it even further 🏔️ more art, deeper community, and clothing that ties it all together. We wouldn’t have been able to do it without the support of @nomoreblankwalls and you, the community. Together, we hope to celebrate and support art in all its forms. For those who’ve been asking, the wait is over. The products are live now. We stocked extra, but you already know they won’t last. Let’s go! 🚙💨 by @radam_royce
I KNOW, I’M A BIT CRAZY! I’ve been asking myself what drives me to do another brand creating collections, brainstorming marketing, filming, documenting, organizing events with the best @nomoreblankwalls… and now, it’s finally launch day for @sugiarto_studios . Wild, right? But honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. This is what I love, even when it feels like I’m doing ten things at once and losing my mind. At the heart of it, it’s not just about the clothes. It’s about sharing a story, expressing something real, and celebrating the art in each stitch, button, and detail. My roots, my ideas, my creativity it’s all here for you. If you vibe with the collection, I’d love for you to have a piece. But if not, that’s cool too. I just hope you leave feeling a little more inspired to tell your own story, whatever that looks like. So, thanks for being here for sharing in the chaos, the laughs, the creativity, and the art. Here’s to doing what you love! by @radam_royce
