The album has landed! You can listen to Radar Blips’ ten-song debut, 19th Galaxy, on @bandcamp or check out the singles on the streaming apps.

The album was recorded and mixed by @ethanlandonmayo at @memphismagneticrecordingco and mastered by @jezmcnezz. Ethan was a pleasure to work with, and we benefitted immensely from his golden ear and creative input in the studio. We also appreciate how generous and enthusiastic Jesse was in mastering the album and supporting us along the way. If you’re looking for people to help produce your music, don’t hesitate to reach out to these Memphis rock ‘n roll sweethearts.

@opalraepoppyseed, the muse behind “She’s So Fine” and “Cannonball,” took the photographs for the album cover. And that tasty font on the cover was designed by @dicky.syafaat.

Shout out to all our friends and family who came out to shows and supported us while we worked on this album. And shout out to everyone in Memphis and beyond who’s creating art and bringing people together. We’re blessed to be part of the Memphis music scene and to have you all in our lives.

There’s a lot of darkness in the world, a lot of hate and violence and suffering that’s beyond our control. But that will never stop us from making music and looking out for one another. Cheers to everyone who’s helping make the world a little brighter, a little more colorful, and a little noisier. Rock on!

Last slide: closing scene from Twilight Zone, “The Chaser.” A man gives his crush a love potion and gets more than he bargained for… (Serling’s closing monologue in this one is hilarious)

Monday funday you-don’t-wanna-miss-this-one day. Please read the fine print. Rock and roll is an uncontrolled substance and has not been approved for medical use by the FDA. Consult your primary care musician for guidance on proper dosage and side effects. We waive all liability for rock n roll injuries sustained in bursts of spontaneous joy, for damage done to the reputation of Mondays as blue, and for psychological distress resulting from FOMO among anyone who misses this show. Doors at 7, music at 7:30.
