Dude is really into deformation work, yet he lacks the the eloquence of Sir Joseph Merrick.
.
Jokes aside. Joseph Merrick had no noble title — but he had one hell of a hard life.
.
True story: Born in Leicester in 1862, Merrick suffered from severe physical deformities, the exact cause of which was never clearly identified. He quickly became known as the "Elephant Man". After difficult years in the workhouse, he was exhibited as a curiosity at fairs until the physician Frederick Treves brought him to the London Hospital, where Merrick experienced safety and dignity for the first time. Despite his appearance, he was intelligent, sensitive, and openly religious. Merrick died in 1890 at the age of 27.
Fact on top: At one time, Merrick was even suspected of being involved in the Ripper murders.

The most dangerous pirate you’ve probably never heard of 👇
LeChuck began his reign of terror long before he became a ghost. In life, he dominated the Seven Seas, sinking countless Royal Navy ships and leaving a trail of bodies in his wake. Legends say he dislocated Blackbeard’s shoulder during an arm-wrestling match at the Scumm Bar, and with nothing but trickery and nerve, he managed to trap One-Eyed Willy and his entire crew inside a mountain cavern, where they awaited death in utter boredom.
.
But raw strength and brutality were never enough for him. LeChuck craved power beyond the mortal world. His obsession with Voodoo drove him to the forbidden jungles of Monkey Island, where his final expedition ended in death. Or rather, in something worse.
.
Since then, LeChuck roams the seas as an undead pirate lord, fueled by Voodoo magic, heavy metal and an unquenchable thirst for power.

Bela Lugosi remains one of cinema’s most iconic figures. Best known for bringing Dracula to life, he turned a single role into a legacy.
.
Despite struggling with typecasting and personal challenges, he remained dedicated to his craft until the very end. In his final years, he formed an unlikely and heartfelt friendship with cult filmmaker Ed Wood, who gave him some of his last roles and treated him with deep admiration. Lugosi passed away in 1956.

Kicking it off with a small collab.

@siergraff set the theme and sent forth a young sorcerer’s apprentice into the vast and boundless world of 228 collabs.

At first, his journey went smoothly — no peril, no turmoil, no hustle and bustle.

After two days’ travel, he came upon the ruins of a city long erased from memory, once devoured by pestilence.

And there, among the shattered relics of the dead, a prime-evil necromancer, level 666, barred his path.

What fate awaits? Only the unfolding darkness shall reveal the rest. Meaning: You will have to wait until more artists add to this epic saga.

Swipe for process.

They just unearthed what might be the first unboxing video in history! Paris film historians date the material back to 1913 — and rumor has it Georges Méliès himself directed it!

To all my brothers and sisters struggling with neck, back, and shoulder problems — this one’s for you!

I wish my back was strong, not crackin’ all day,
I wish my neck stayed cool, not twisted that way,
I wish my shoulders loose, not tight when I bend,
I’d sit and draw for hours, no pain in the end.

I wish my posture straight when I’m sketchin’ a line,
I wish my spine felt good, not breakin’ each time,
I wish my hands stayed still, no cramps when I pen,
I’d fill my book with pages, then start it again.

I wish I had no back pain, so I could draw all night,
I wish my neck was easy, my shoulders feelin’ right,
I wish my spine was steady, not poppin’ when I bend,
And if I sketched forever, I’d still draw to the end.
