It’s been a while since I’ve done a proper reintroduction, and we’ve got a lot of new faces here, so hi, I’m Roxanne. 💗

I’m the NP and owner of Radiance By Roxanne, and I still love what I do just as much as I did the day I started my practice in 2020.

I’ve been a nurse since 2006 (over 20 years now) and a Nurse Practitioner since 2013 (board-certified through AANP). I got my Bachelor’s in Nursing from Saint Anthony’s and my Master’s from NIU.

Aesthetics became my true calling, and continuing my education has always been a priority. I’ve traveled to at least 25 aesthetic conferences and worked through hundreds of online training courses/webinars.

More recently, my focus has turned toward hormone/thyroid optimization. I’ve even completed the courses with HRT University and stay connected with their community to keep learning. It’s become one of my favorite parts of this work!

Outside the practice, I’m a triplet mom, so chaos is basically my normal setting, but those three are my whole world. This year is extra special too, since I’m getting married this September. My fiancé and I have 9 children between us, ranging in age from 8 to 17! He also has a set of twins that are the same age as my triplets!

Five years of Radiance. 🩷

While Radiance officially began back in December of 2020, everything truly came to life when we moved into our space in February. That was the moment Radiance really kicked off… the vision, the growth, and the community we’ve built together.

To every client who has trusted me with their skin and wellness… thank you. Your support, loyalty, and referrals mean more than you will ever know. I feel incredibly lucky every single day to run a business that I love and to serve such an amazing group of clients.

I’ve always been drawn to the science side of aesthetics. Facial anatomy, the way muscles work together, how skin and volume change over time: understanding what’s happening beneath the surface is what guides every treatment decision I make. No two faces are the same, and that’s exactly what keeps this work so interesting to me.

But the anatomy is only part of it. What really makes this job meaningful is the person sitting across from me. I love hearing what a client wants to feel when they look in the mirror, then using my knowledge to help them get there in a way that still looks like them. Watching someone leave feeling confident, refreshed, and like their best self is the best part of my day.

Bruising or swelling can happen to anyone after injectables, even with an experienced injector and when everything is done exactly right. It’s a normal response and not a sign that something went wrong.

Happy Dolly Parton Day 🦋

Today, 9/25, we’re honoring a woman whose light will never dim. Dolly showed the world that beauty could be bold, playful, generous, and completely your own. She was always honest about the work behind her iconic look, from the towering hair to the rhinestones to the little refreshes along the way. She never pretended it came naturally. She chose it, owned it, and laughed about it, and that honesty made us love her even more.

Today’s the day! 💍🤍

Roxanne and Brandon are getting married today, and we couldn’t be happier for them!

She’ll be on her honeymoon afterwards and back seeing clients on October 3rd. While she’s away, Caitlyn will be answering calls and still seeing clients for her aesthetician services.
