A glimpse at my 2026 camera roll so far. So many adventures, accomplishments, fun memories and special time with loved ones. I’m full of gratitude for everything this year has brought me and am excited to see what else 2026 has in store for me.

Their support, coaching, and amazing ways they held space and showed up for themselves and the group made my experience extra special 🥰

First time on Mac Woods Dune Rides (Silver Lake MI) and it was fun and educational! 10/10

I went to a part concert, part singles mixer in Austin the evening of my birthday. Wonderful music and venue! Decent conversations that led to having people to go out with afterwards 🥳 (and a first date that didn’t have a second lol)

I got the GoWild pass with Frontier Airlines in May and have almost made my money back from just TWO ROUNDTRIP FLIGHTS! Also my little environmental heart is singing everytime I get to fly with them. They are the greenest airline, who won the North American Environmental Sustainability Airline of the Year Award, and have “animal ambassadors” on the tails of their planes (with special emphasis on threatened and endangered species) to promote public awareness and wildlife conservation. I’ve heard the best stories, learned fun plane facts and been serenaded to by the amazing Frontier staff. I’m excited to keep using my pass till it expires in April!

I was BeingReal in a whole new way this year at NLC ’26 — and it did a 180 on my life.

They instituted a strict no phones/electronics policy, which me and a lot of the volunteer staff decided to take as a Dare - a full phone + socials detox for the week of conference. (I did sneak in a few BeReals during staff training and when we got our phones back at the end of the week 🤫).

This detox really showed me how I was REALLY BEING recently — disconnected from the outside world and locked into the online one, while believing every voice in my head as truth.

The inner ego whispering you need to post more, do more, be more visible or you’ll be forgotten. The inner critic underneath that saying see? you’re already falling behind. And the inner child just wanting to numb out and scroll. Meanwhile my intuition was there — she could get a word in — I just couldn’t believe her through all the noise.

All of it running on a loop — cycles of depression, anxiety, stress, and stagnancy — while I masked every bit of it to show up the way people expected me to: positive, energized, connected, and in action. And somehow I thought the phone was helping me cope, when really it was just turning the volume up on all of it.

I didn’t realize the addiction to screens that I had. I guess I had normalized it after 4+ years of learning and working almost entirely online. But for the first time in a long time, I’m not reaching for it out of habit. I’m not thinking about it. Half the day passes and I haven’t even clocked where my phone is — and I’m completely unbothered. No constant pull, no anxiety over a missed notification, no needing it in my hand just to feel settled. I feel more present and in my body these last 2.5 weeks than I have in months.

I am so grateful FBTFW and the whole NLC community got to experience this phone-free week with me — what a special gift we gave ourselves. Being fully present for this group, this week, in this chapter felt like exactly what we all needed. I’m excited to redefine my relationship with screens this summer so I can show up even more fully in the ways that actually matter.

Happy 3rd Birthday to the boy himself, Bodhi! 🎉
I am so grateful to have found a soul cat like him 3 years ago. I truly can’t imagine life without him.

He is the morning bird to my night owl tendencies—I’m still getting used to his 5:30 a.m. wake-up routine all these years later 🤣

Every day he reminds me to be playful, curious, present, and to always communicate what I want (he’s a big talker 🙂‍↕️). He makes every day brighter just by being himself.

Here’s to many more early mornings, miles on the road, outdoor adventures, and exploring the world together 🐾🌎💛
