My first official newsletter, Bloom in Color went live today!

I’ve always wanted to create a space for women of color to write, but wasn’t sure if I had enough resources or if I knew what I was doing or if I was even good enough to start.

It’s a good feeling to know despite those negative thoughts, I did it anyway.

Hi Bloomers! We have some exciting news - our sweet founder Kara is hosting a virtual writing workshop on Saturday, September 19th with @midnightandindigo that will focus on how to tackle writer’s block 💐🌸

Let’s show Kara some love and sign up for her class at the link in our bio! If you’re not able to make it, please share this with your network <333

I got to attend the Black Girls in Media conference yesterday!

Feeling so grateful for spaces like this and for being able to meet so many wonderful + inspiring women this weekend.

It’s a privilege to have a passion and it’s even more of a privilege to be able to feed into it. Cheers to a successful day! 🥂🩷

Thanks to @blackgirlsinmedia @tashjmackk for having me!!!
