They say your firsts will always hold a special place in your heart, and these two will always hold one in mine. 🩵 Crysania and Michelle, my first queens. You’ll always be such a special part of my story, and I’m so grateful I get to be part of yours.

Thank you for trusting me on this journey. I am in awe of your courage, dedication, and determination. Watching you step onto the national stage and represent Hawaiʻi with so much pride is something I’ll never forget. I hope you feel proud of everything you’ve accomplished, because so many of us are proud of you.

You both have such beautiful hearts, and I’m honored to walk this path with you. Being my first year as a director, I set very high expectations for myself because I wanted to give you my best. Thank you for listening to my advice and trusting me as I learned along the way. I hope I didn’t drive you too crazy, lol. 🤣

A special thank you to Ms. Laura Rayborn for trusting me to serve as Hawaiʻi’s director. Thank you for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to be part of these young women’s journeys.

Today, I’m grateful for how God led me down a path I never imagined for myself. There were so many rejections that redirected me to this moment, and I would go through them all again if it meant getting to share this experience with you.

Our journey continues back home, and I can’t wait to make more memories and watch you both continue to bloom. Love you queens! 🩵
