Time moves so quickly when you’re stressed!Some things stay on your mind. Like coming across the simple concept of #slowliving. How punk, to stop the clock. Years later, I understand how I spent years running in circles, always chasing the next solution. Slow and steady PROGRESS, building intentionally and the art of pacing made all the difference. Everything in its right place and time. I am worthy even if “unproductive”… only I’m not even, I am more productive and discerning than ever before.Tearing down is quick, building is slow. by @radical__renaissance

Fandom forever! Tsundoku is the Japanese art of collecting books to read later. It’s a pillar of my life. As I’m de-cluttering to make space for my child, I’m also focusing on what we actually care about. It’s a process of elimitaion. Books stay. Pop culture stays. Football enters. It’s sort of a nightmare to move bigger and just bring everything along, lazily… I’m enjoying making a reasonable space work for us and our interests, for the way we actually move and what we actually want to be about, which often is more idealistic than materialistic… a way of life.What do you want to pass down to your children? by @radical__renaissance

I see single motherhood a bit too glorified for my liking and sometimes I think: ”what about him?” like a good boy-mom 😇 (also: what about her me-time?)This is as @lisabritton as I can go 😂; my partner played Counter-Strike with my 2-y/o 🆘… I was fuming, he *acted* clueless… but without admitting any mistake 🙄 accepted my compromise of gaming-time (I need a breather) BUT no games with guns… now he’ll even call out milder violence on TV… My stupidly proud man who sometimes just looks for something to talk about (enter soccer) hahaha.Remember: we’re different, not better/worse. My partner keeps me down-to-earth (fck his world is too real, wheras I know plenty of women who are over-confident singers…) and makes me cooler and calmer… he paces me. If it’s your duty to call out against one murder, it is your duty to call out against all murder and I’m not seeing it!
