What. A. Day 😮‍💨

A lovely drive to Snetterton, finally got to enjoy watching @timeattack_uk and @racinghondas , had some good chats with people and see them appreciating the car as much as me.

And to top it all off I left with a trophy from @obsessioncarshow for best Performance car, well chuffed 😁

Thanks to @modifiedliveshow for a great day out and hopefully get to do it again sometime (before I pull the car apart again 🤣)

WHAT. A. DAY! 🤯🤯🤯

After 2 years of work it has been worth it!

After a bumpy start with a broken transporter from one company, Wayne at @blackwelltransportservices saved the day and even got us to the rolling road slot on time at last minute notice!

It was then time for @emeraldm3d to work their magic.
After taking time to make up custom plug leads to check ignition timing, finding an air leak and making gaskets to fix it, Ollie could finally get cracking on with mapping!
He definitely knows what he's doing as smashed through it!
Before I knew it we were onto power runs, and damn it makes a beautiful sound!! 😍🥵

The end result, 196BHP!! 😲

A quick tuning to dial in flat shifting and it was all over!
Then a steady drive home with a huge grin 😁

I cannot thank Wayne, Dave, Keith and Ollie enough for their help!

Put to good use 😍
On Monday the car finally made it's way onto a track!

Being both it's first time being out through it's paces and my first time on track there were definitely some nerves. But a few calm sessions and was able to start pushing,
and safe to say that the car definitely has more to give!

It did struggle a bit with understeer into a few corners so definitely need to play with some settings, but safe to say it felt planted and surprised a few other cars 😁

Itching to get back out there as know more no where I can improve just as much as the car!

Everything starting to align 😁

After getting all the wide front suspension fitted I'd only managed time to adjust everything by eye before Modified Live, so a visit to @bccarsmotorsport was needed to get everything correct.

Somehow had managed to get camber practically spot on by luck more than judgement 🤣 a quick tweak of toe and all was good!

Finally stuck it on the scales, and with only a few turns of the front coils we had that spot on too! Also found out the actual weight of it with me and a light fuel tank.

So with everything as together as it's ever been, I guess there's only one thing left to do 🤭🤭

Just a little bit of history repeating 😲

Sorting through an old hard drive and stumbled across this, FROM 18 YEARS AGO!!

Safe to say that even back then I knew how I wanted the car, so makes me happy that I stuck so close to it with only the wheels being different (and yes I would have preferred them white too 😂)

A little secret 🤭🤭

At Modified Live I was lucky enough to spot @biggiejdm looking around the car and was more than happy opening it up for him to have a closer look.
When he said he'd like to do an interview, well, I nearly dropped me chips 😂

Can't thank him enough for his time and effort, and hopefully will bump into him and @mrsbiggiejdm again another time as both lovely people to chat to!

Look how far we've come since it's first (and last show) 4 years ago 😍😍

It doesn't look like a huge change externally. Plates, lights and wheels 🤷‍♂️

But under the skin has been huge changes!

Full car rewire with @emeraldm3d standalone management and @aimtechnologies dash
Genuine Super 1600 manifold with @jenveydynamics throttle and @itgairfilters air filter
@obpmotorsport pedal box
A new fuel filler system from @proalloymotorsport
Hanger 30 wide lower suspension arms
@satchellengineering custom driveshafts
@brembo front brakes
@plastics4performance windows to replace some inferior broken ones
@ultra.precision.products.uk for multiple items on the car, and a number of bizarre odd jobs!
And the huge visual change thanks to the stunning @team_dynamics_wheels with the incredible 9"wide on the rear 😍
