Let’s finish off these jackets finally.

Super excited to post the shoot of this one cause I actually worked hella crazy in photoshop for these ones. Just wanted to have fun and experiment.

creating a journal that exists in my little world!

I’ve been wanting to get into journaling for quite some time now, but I always open one, go to write, maybe write something, and then stop, and I never pick the book up again.

So I thought... I think I need to make something that feels like my own and that I’ve cherished and christened with my own creativity so that I will end up using it because if I don’t, I’ll feel guilty.

And low key, it’s actually worked. So far, I’m through fifty pages, and I’m super proud of myself. It’s helped me gain clarity on my thoughts, my ideas, and things that I wanna achieve and my goals with life, I guess.

What games hit like this for you ? For me, it’s literally always going to be Half Life 2.

It’s definitely the kid in me that use to play this on repeat and then jump on Garrys Mod for hours. And yeah, i’m not ashamed to admit I miss it either.

Recently in my artistic practice, I’ve been revisiting this game and other childhood interests and experiences.

Connecting with that has allowed me to shape new ideas and projects that inspire me because of its familiarity to my life and my love and passion for gaming as a whole.

So I thought I’d make this as a bit of a why, not necessarily how it connects to my art specifically, but why this game cannot seem to leave my brain.

I love distressed, decayed, broken things. And this games entire world is ruined, and it’s done masterfully.

Do yourself a favour and play this game! I genuinely believe it’s one of the best ever created ;)
