🍁We are entering Halloween weekend 🎃👻⁣ ⁣ October is genuinely slipping through my fingers like sand 😭⁣ ⁣ ✨Do you have any spooky season recs🪾?⁣ ⁣ 🧛🏻‍♀️Milkteeth by @authorcstarling is a different spin on vampires and I am so intrigued 👀😍⁣ ⁣ Beatrice is a broodmother: a vampire responsible for nursing newly made fledglings through the first years of their unlife. She nests in an abandoned, isolated warren of office space beneath her patron’s skyscraper, raising two fractious fledglings.⁣ ⁣ But when she decides to take on a third fledgling, Beatrice finds herself strained by her own ravenous hunger - her body is changing too, transforming her into something even more monstrous.⁣ ⁣ Desperate to master herself once more, Beatrice courts a mortal who might be able to unravel the secrets of her unnatural anatomy. But their connection threatens the secrecy of her vampiric coven and all that Beatrice holds dear to her unbeating heart.⁣ ⁣ Thank you 👑Queen Rih @penguinhuddlebooks and @michaeljbooks for sending me a proof 🥰🫶🏼♥️⁣ ⁣ 🎃 I hope everyone has a GLORIOUS week 🧡⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ #milkteeth #CaitlinStarling #horrorbooks #halloween #horror by @rae
I hope you are well!! October has literally flown by 😭 Stopp🍁⁣ ⁣ ✨What’s a a book you recent read and loved 🫶🏼?⁣ ⁣ I finally read Silvercloak by @laurasteven and finished it a couple weeks back 😍🥰 If you haven’t heard about Silvercloak, it has a unique magic system where pleasure & pain fuels your magic well and spells are cast with wands🪄 An undercover detective infiltrates the mafia and is somehow prophesied to kiss and kill the kill pin’s son 👀 This is also set in a queer normative world 🌈⁣ ⁣ This book both stood out to me and felt nostalgic at the same time. I’m not going to spoilt it but I did very much enjoy that ending! I cannot wait to get to Turncloak! ⁣ ⁣ I also travelled to the Berwick Literary Festival recently and got to to meet Laura Steven and Hannah Kaner who were both so lovely 🥹♥️⁣ ⁣ Thank you 👑Queen Rih @penguinhuddlebooks and @delreyuk for sending me a proof 🥰🫶🏼♥️⁣ ⁣ P.S. Can we request to reprint your stunning editions please @fairyloot 🧚🏻‍♂️🥹🙏🏼🪄⁣ ⁣ ⁣ #silvercloak #laurasteven #lksteven #TheSilvercloakSaga #fantasybooks by @rae

“I’d carved into my skin to make sure she’d always be safe—so that I could always find her. She’d never know that my soul was tied to hers. That my heart bled for her, more and more every passing day.”⁣ ― Bree Grenwich & Parker Lennox, The Ascended ⁣ ⁣ ✨ 🖤 ✨ 🖤 ✨⁣ ⁣ ✨What’s a new series that you have started recently? ⁣ ⁣ I had the pleasure of meeting @breegrenwichauthor & @parkerlennoxauthor , the two very lovely authors of The Ascended at the @duskbooksuk launch party 💙💜🩷🧡 They were so very kind and indulged me when I asked for quotes during the signing 🫣♥️🥹 Thank you so much Bree & Parker and Rih @penguinhuddlebooks for the invite 🫶🏼⁣ ⁣ Very excited to read this one 😍 I read a couple of reviews and it seems like I might need to read Riftborne and Duskbound before reading this one 👀⁣ ⁣ ✨ 🖤 ✨ 🖤 ✨⁣ ⁣ When twins Thais and Thatcher are thrust into the deadly Trials of Ascension, they must survive brutal competitions, tangled loyalties, and forbidden desires—where some secrets are worth dying for, and others are worth killing for.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ #theascended #ParkerLennox #BreeGrenwich #booksinthewild #booksinnature by @rae

💜Happy Grim Tidings release week to the one and only @authorbkborison 🎉 This one goes straight onto my autumn TBR 🍂 I’m thinking of doing an in tandem read with an audiobook 😏 I listened to Good Spirits audiobook last year and it was SO GOOD 😍⁣ ⁣ I read Becs’ recent newsletter about Grim Tidings and sounds like one written very close to her heart 🥹 I cannot wait to start! ⁣ ⁣ ✨Who has snagged The Works edition 👀/ hoping for a @harpercollinsuk hardcover exclusive edition 🙏🏼? ⁣ ⁣ ✨ 💜 🪽 🖤 ✨⁣ ⁣ Darcy Moore is tired of death. Which would be fine and good ... if she wasn’t a Grim Reaper. Determined to outrun her designation as the villain, Darcy decides she won’t be dragging her next assignment to the underworld. She’ll be saving him instead.⁣ ⁣ Unfortunately for Darcy, there’s a complication in her plan. Guardian Angel Gabriel Aetos doesn’t tolerate threats to his little corner of the world, and a Grim Reaper showing up at his bar is as deadly as it gets. But when he realizes Darcy is not as she seems, Gabriel must decide if he can trust his growing feelings or hold on to his long-standing grudge.⁣ ⁣ But magic doesn’t come without consequences. And the Department of Hauntings & Spirits will eventually come calling for their missing Reaper.⁣ ⁣ Thank you so much @harperinsider for sending me this proof 🥹🫶🏼💜⁣ ⁣ @hqstories⁣ ⁣ #romancebooks #romancebookstagram #bkborison #ghosted #GrimTidings by @rae
