✨ LIFE UPDATE: THE ALMAGUERS ARE ON THE MOVE! ✨

But first, let’s rewind to where it all started…

About 12 years ago, we stepped into youth ministry simply to keep an eye on our two oldest kids. We hadn’t attended ministry school, and we were barely youth leaders when we went to our first Winter Camp. It was there that God gave Lupe a vision that one day he would become a senior pastor.

And almost 17 years ago, when we first started dating, Lupe tried to convince me to move to Florida—the place where he grew up. Little did we know how beautifully God would bring it all together.

Now, 12 years of ministry and many steps of obedience later, the Almaguers are headed to Florida! 🌴

We have accepted the senior pastor role at Pinellas Park First Assembly of God, and we’ll be living in Largo—the very city where Lupe grew up. God truly writes the best stories!

While we’re excited for this new season, leaving our Radius Church family is incredibly bittersweet. We are so grateful for every friendship, every memory, and all the love and support you’ve shown us—especially throughout this move and transition. You will always be family to us.

Our boy Jaidyn will remain in Houston to attend Grace Leadership College and pursue his ministry degree. We’re beyond thankful for our “framily” who has opened their home to him and for our church family who will be there whenever he needs them.

Jaidyn, we love you so much. Always remember: home isn’t simply the location of a house—home is wherever we are together. ❤️

As we step into this new season, please pray:

🙏 That we continue walking in obedience to everything God is calling us to do.
🙏 That our home in Texas sells quickly.
🙏 For our family as we navigate this transition and the distance.
🙏 For our new church family at Pinellas Park First Assembly of God.
🙏 That God uses us to reach Pinellas Park and the surrounding communities with the hope and love of Jesus.

We’re walking into this next chapter with grateful hearts and great expectation.

This man is truly THEE best dad to our kiddos. We are so grateful for the way he leads our home and points our children toward Jesus every day. He’s an incredible husband and father who loves us so well.

He’s the shoulder we lean on, the ear that always listens, and the one who challenges us to grow into who God has called us to be. He fills our home with so much joy, laughter, and love, and we are better because of him.

Beyond blessed to have had this man step into our lives and love each of us as his own. He was someone you could always count on, never afraid to share his heart, love big, and show up when it mattered most. I miss hearing him ask, “How’s my girl?” and ending every conversation with, “Love you, Rae.”
