Family is a luxury, and I thank God for mine. ♥️

My boys have been competing since May and have crushed every single show, but this one was extra special. My brothers AND my big cousin all hit the stage! 💪🏾✨

Watching the people you love accomplish their goals is one thing, but being there to witness it together makes it even sweeter. The way we show up, support, and celebrate one another is priceless. 🫶🏾

October Dump! ✨

This month has been full of wins, new opportunities, family, friends and first timings!

Started off with both of my boys winning 1st place in their 3rd competition! I’m truly proud of them and their journey! @o.dawg @aawhave

I was introduced to @therealblackinhr! Man, that conference was so powerful and much needed that it gave me the sign and motivation I needed to go back to school. Headed to KSU to obtain my MSW and MBA! 😅

My girls came in town to celebrate their birthdays and we had a blast! You cannot take the MS out of Elexis! 😂 @elexis_shantyl

Finally got to experience Rock City Church in person and the Celebration Concert! I was blown away. My first gospel concert was simply amazing and My Pastor is just, phenomenal!! @pastormikejr

Lastly, yall know I love me some @jazminesullivan! I finally got to see her and yall I cried 🤣 My cousin @creole_queen0710 thought I was crazy 😂

Needless to say October was good to me! I thank God most for the little things that I overcame and the strength I gained to prepare for this next season!

Today, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to my mama. I feel like there’s never enough things to do to show you how much you are appreciated not just today but everyday! You embody what beauty, loyalty, love, friendship, providing and so many more things look like.
In my younger days I took for granted our relationship but now I couldn’t be more grateful for where we are today. Thank you for being the woman you are to look up to. I love you with all my heart and I pray this birthday is special. Happy birthday Ma! 💕♥️🎉 by @rae_jalis

August Dump! First off, it came and went like a Jet 2 Holiday! 😮‍💨

This month God told me to sit still, remove the distractions and be obedient. I fasted from my reality shows (my weakness), committed to tithing regularly and locked in with God DAILY! I replaced WASTED time with INTENTIONAL time!

I’m not perfect and nor do I want to portray to be, but I want to at least be a light for someone else to be encouraged and lock in with their spiritual journey.

It isn’t an easy journey. Staying committed, submitted, faithful and disciplined is what I’m striving for while building my relationship with God and He will do the rest.

Happy halfway through the year yall! I pray you’re growing through and reaching your goals. If not, pick yourself, dust yourself off and try again!

8 Months post myomectomy! Discipline, persistence, and consistency has been my focus. I stopped trying to focus on the scale and focused on being in tune with my body. I’ve done a trial and error for these last 5 months. Fruits and juicing has become a favorite thing to do minus the clean up. I now like avocados. I don’t drink and I don’t eat fast food. I eat the same thing ALL THE TIME! Oh, and Danze and Tone a Lifetime has made working out that much more enjoyable!

Life Update:

Just two months ago in this picture I was just weeks away from surgery and preparing for a new start! September 20 I had 17 fibroids removed and I’m so grateful! 6 weeks of taking time to recover mentally, physically, emotionally but the best one spiritually! I am feeling the best I’ve felt in years. My words of encouragement to you; remain in God and anything you ask of Him he will provide, keep a healthy balanced diet, exercise daily, and go see your doctor!

We all going through something it’s how you come out on the end 💪🏾

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to my support system! I love you more than words can express!
