the thought of getting chosen by a literary agent and them being genuinely interested in my book that they care to fight for its publication alone just blows my mind 😮 and even if you don't get your dream deal, just them sharing the journey with you and believing in your story is worth all the effort 💌

AAAAAAAAAA I literally think about that everyday, just seeing my book available for people to read in bookstores is such a rewarding feeling. but it's also scary because I WROTE THAT and PEOPLE ARE GONNA READ IT OMG, after so many drafts and clinging to my characters I still don't know how I will be able to receive negative feedback 😭 BUT I look forward to the good ones!! 🤭

okay yeah i wouldn't believe this one if it happened, I'd probably refresh the page and pinch myself over and over again, I'd check the list again every time I wake up just to make sure it isn't a dream and I would yap about it to everyone I knoww until they block me (they can't 😌) and my soul will ascend when I finally write it in my bio and see it on my book cover. 📖

i'd loooove to walk into a bookstore randomly and just sign my books for them and make it accessible for their readers omg i've seen so many authors do it and i think it's so cool!! it's like finding a rare pokemon card 😭

finding book concepts doesn't have to be a hard process, it should be fun to experiment with the endless possibilities of where a story could go. i could say it's the best step of writing a novel, or as @_ananeu said "i just wanna brainstorm stories forever and never actually write them" 😭 which is so real!!

a little life update 🕯️

okay so i've been MIA for a while, longer than i wanted, honestly. but after a long, *long* school year, i can finally say i'm back and breathing again.

this past year really challenged me in ways i didn't expect. not just academically, but with writing and content creation too. engineering has a way of draining everything out of you if you're not careful ; your time, your energy, your will to exist a little bit. you think you're managing and then finals season hits and you're just... gone.

but here's the thing, i never fully let go of writing. i kept my wip in the back of my mind the whole time, and i kid you not, i would've finished the entire draft if i'd followed every urge to write when i had homework or exams due. it just hit *differently* then.😮‍💨

unfortunately the draft is still sitting at around 12k words. which — okay, that's actually still amazing for me and i'm choosing to be proud of it. but this summer? i'm writing as much as i possibly can before i go back to my student diaries. no excuses.

oh and on a completely unrelated but very important note: if you have any meal prep tips or quick easy recipes, *please* drop them below because ur girl is running out of ideas and i refuse to eat the same three things for another year 😭

glad to be back. missed you sm!
