Living in a painting 🖼️
Meanwhile, I have learned not to chase the light. What is meant for me will find me,
just as the sun finds the horizon every evening. So I stand at my window quiet, grateful, becoming. Some days, I feel as though I’ve lived a thousand years and loved a thousand lives.
Survived a thousand endings,
and somehow, I am still here.

Among the trees, I am reminded that nothing in nature begs to be chosen. It simply exists rooted, purposeful, whole.
And perhaps that is where I am in life. I search for no one, and I long for nothing. I am here to experience, to create, to mother my babies, and to prepare them for the wild world beyond these trees. 🌲 The forest does not ask me who I belong to. It simply reminds me that I belong to myself.I long for nothing. Nothing at all. I may dabble in pursuits and exchanges of energy, but I do so as an observer as someone fascinated by the human experience, by connection, and by what it teaches me. I live it, I study it, and eventually, I write about it.
But can I be completely honest?
I am searching for nothing. I am searching for no one. I want nothing from anyone.
I am here with a purpose, and my individual purpose belongs to me alone. A sacred part of that purpose is to mother my two babies to pour into them, build them up, strengthen their minds and spirits, and prepare them for the jungle that is the outside world.
Beyond that, I am not waiting for someone to arrive. I am not searching for something to complete me. I am not chasing love, validation, belonging, or fulfillment through another person. The heart heals the way dawn arrives not all at once, but enough each day to keep moving forward.
