@centralbooksph booth! we were warmly welcomed even by the owner. they have award-winning authors of children’s books; law books; and bargain deals! i forgot which publishing house this was from but look at the awesome titles! bagged some goodies for the kiddies 🤩 cool and fun stuff cool collection on display. blew my brains out at how majestic it is! one of @nbdbphilippines’ booth! visit this one!! it was heartwarming to meet the author. the book is about teaching kids how to say sorry and apologize sincerely. pagod! cute korean booth at @nationalbookstore!! they have pretty good deals too <3 one of my favorite booths not only because there’s a poging poging pogiiiii na i can’t take my mind of but because i literally love swedish literature (pippi longstocking!!) books featured by swedish writers are chef’s kiss make sure to check out sweden embassy manila booth! passed by this awesome booth where they sell book keychains and this lil rock caught my eye! it’s giving starfield library 😭 i’m honestly amazed at how wattpad books are selling like hotcakes cute lng :p honestly this booth which features german literature is worth a stop! bless the telephone cos i wanna take this home bruhhh i saw cryptocurrency and immediately said “we need this for kids’ information literacy program” cute stack selecting and acquiring books for the library isn’t an easy feat. the reality is when you’ve got a budget and an upcoming accreditation, you have to consider the copyright year; if it’s exactly what the patron needs; if they actually are into that subject. children’s literature is totally lit i love pippi longstocking sm by @raeshiori

From the archives. I wrote this in the beginning of pandemic. Big flex, no AI. Excerpt: Fake news peddlers, troll accounts, toxic positivity, history revisionists, #M4rc0s1sAh3r0—all these lies have deprived us of our abilities to see truth for ourselves. We have been fed with so much lies that we can’t recognize what’s true anymore. Now that we are facing COVID-19, a worldwide crisis that has already stolen countless lives’ means of resources, the global economy seemed to be shaken, this is a reality. The crisis we face also had the power to expose the class struggle, a clash between those who can afford to stay home and bathe themselves in the idea of Netflix&Chill to those who can’t stay home because their homes are not enough to feed them. The global pandemic has surely exposed the incompetence of the government, this is a reality. With the lockdown, the society suggests that we got a lot of time on our own except the frontliners and the ones who had their bodies fighting the virus. But having a lot of time also means longer suffering for those who experience deprivation of resources and the victims of domestic violence, their homes are not safe havens, this is a reality. Somehow I feel like I am betraying those who are suffering and working hard while I’m here staying decent in my home, having stable internet connection, has 3 meals a day, and a family, everything seems nice in our home except for the fact that my father was hospitalized due to a bone fracture in his thigh. Am I suffering too? I don’t think so, but I think my father is. by @raeshiori
