I know I’ve been M.S.(N), but I had to go eaRN this degree.
•August 14th, 2026 I earned my Master of Science in Nursing degree.
•October 5th, 2026 after 150 questions.. I became a Licensed Registered Nurse.

I had to revisit this dream that the little girl inside of me always longed for. I embarked on this journey a year and 8-months ago and with every challenge, it has been fueled with ambition and a promise to show up for myself everyday. From the long nights, early mornings, 12-hour clinical rotations, externships, examinations, and relationships I have formed through out this program has been honorary. I am grateful for my support system and God for allowing me to live out this dream and by continuing to further his kingdom. I promise to be the light and superhero in my pediatric patient’s lives and their families during any uphill battle.

I want to thank God for keeping me safe and allowing me to prosper every day I wake up. I want to thank my friends who motivated me and always believed in me before I believed in myself. I want to thank my family for their love, encouragement, and reassurance that kept me going and always reminding me to never limit myself. I want to thank the Omicron Gamma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. for accepting me into their sisterhood and allowing me to serve as their Anti-Grammateus.
To my PRHOphytes, Sisters, and Sorors, GRHOunded Radiance I’ll forever be. 💙💛
Lastly to Georgia State University, It’s been a privilege to find a belonging as a student in the panther community; It feels like yesterday I was just preparing for orientation, where did the time go? Surely, I have made my 4 years here worth while and I appreciate everyone who I’ve crossed paths with on this journey because believe it or not, you all have played a part in it.
