literally tearing up making this post

dance has always been a part of me, ever since i was little. my parents would always catch me dancing around in my kitchen and decided to put me in dance classes and i’ve loved it ever since. studio has been a HUGE part of my life and it’s sad to see it go in an instant. i just want to live in this world forever but it has to come to an end at some point.

thank you mom for always being the best supporter ever! you’ve helped me tremendously throughout my crazy dance life. from quick changes, to injuries, to even comforting me when i run off the stage forgetting my first solo, you have always been there and i couldn’t have asked for anyone better! i love you so much!!

to the girls who stuck by my side, thank you for always being there for me! it would brighten my day to see my friends cheering me on whether i’m on stage or even during class. you guys will always be my life long friends and i’m so lucky to have met amazing people!

to all my teachers who trained me through the years, you guys have done so much for me to make me the dancer and person that i am today. you are my biggest role models in my life and i thank you for pushing me to my highest potential!

to see my improvement in each video i watch is so insane to me and im so incredibly proud of myself for how far i’ve come. studio used to feel like just a competition between dancers, but now that im older i realize its all just for fun and to take it lightheartedly. when i realized that my growth skyrocketed and i truly enjoyed just having fun in classes and on stage rather than getting scared to be in the front and dance for myself.

i don’t mean to make this long but this is truly one of the biggest heartbreaks for me to be leaving something so special and dear to my heart behind. dancing on that stage for the last time hurts to bad but hurts so good, knowing i left it all out there for the last time! thank you dance for making my life amazing 💜❤️🖤 by @raevazq

what an amazing 3 years it has been with the best program! this is all i could’ve asked for and more in my high school dance career and i will forever cherish the memories ive made and the people ive been surrounded by!

thank you to my coaches who made this all happen and believed in me from the start. @kristinedalmas @tori.gee @savvykae @kloealmanza @heidiatwoodwilson @cierra_storm @amajhaireedd you have truly helped make me the person and dancer that i am today and i could never thank you enough for your amazing mentorship. even through the tough morning and evening practices, the hard conversations, and the many celebrations we’ve had, you’ve been there for me every step of the way.

thank you to my family, my built in support system and the people who are there for me forever and always. @mandee611 @lucia.vazq you guys mean the absolute world to me and i thank you for coming to support me at literally everything. thank you mom for everything you have done for me, i’m so blessed to have such and incredible person i can look up to.

to my surge girls, i love you guys so so much and you guys mean so much to me. to my alumni, i miss you and thank you for helping me shape the person i am today as well. take everything all in girls, it truly does go by so fast and these memories you will make will stick with you forever, please cherish them with all your heart! i’m so blessed to be on a team with such kind humans and talented dancers and i’m grateful ful i got to lead you all this past year, i hope ive made even a small impact. this isn’t farewell, but see you later, im always one text away :)

my surge chapter has come to a close, it truly doesn’t feel real yet that it’s finally over. i’m so grateful to be a part of something so specially made and will never forget my times with the storm. i’ve made so many incredible memories, long lasting friendships, and grown in maturity, leadership, and kindness just from being around the best group of girls. i love this team, GO SURGE!!
