POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

production by Wega-Film

Besten Dank an @fritzkalteis , @0liver_indra , Julia Heiduschka, @nicolastampfer und allen anderen am Set und in der Produktion

Let’s dive into #ShipSeptember! ☀️🚀
Daily posts might be a stretch for me, but I’ll share as much as I can before #Inktober kicks in.
Starting with "Danube I" - a spaceship that blends the elegant silhouette of a violin with a sleek, plausible design. It's also a tribute to various sci-fi designs - heroes from my youth to the present day.

A journey through time and space in shades of Blue. 💙🌍🚀4️⃣

Swiping through ➡️ to see how I’ve used Blue to tell stories in my latest projects. We often think of blue as calm, but these images prove its dual nature.

Origins of the Alps: A deep, silent blue. Did you know the today's massive Alps region was underwater 200 million years ago? This scene captures the marine graveyard of ancient shells before the mountains even existed.

The High-Altitude Research: A focused, space-age blue. The iconic NASA Lifting Body HL-10, flying high in the experimental thin atmosphere.

Myth & Documentary: A classic, Aegean blue. This detailed map of Crete is from the documentary "Mothers of the Minotaur" (Die Mütter des Minotaurus).

Future Relics: An advanced, futuristic blue glow. A final concept frame from my project: "Alien Artifacts." The vast scale is defined by that cold, technological light.

Green can be healing or haunting. Which blue mood inspires your work the most? Tell me below! 👇

Post your blue art and tag me!

Floating Waterbear. Frame of a 3D Animation for a pitch, which we did quite a while ago. No Ai stuff. Perhaps it will be resurrected in another project. by @raf.visuals

🚀 Inspired by NASA's Artemis Moon Flyby, we sent our 'Danube 1' spacecraft design on a special journey! (Originally created for a New Year's Concert film). Though built for bigger trips, it's taking a lunar swing-by for some extra kick. It was fun making these renderings and seeing it fly over the crater-covered lunar surface.

Wish the Orion crew the best. The real images are already stunning.

Biber Berti polarisiert? Gut so! Als Studio hinter den Clips stehen wir für faktenbasierte Kommunikation. Der Biber ist ein Baumeister, der uns gerade jetzt bei Lawinenschmelze & Hochwasser hilft. Konflikte ernst nehmen, Nutzen erkennen. #BiberBerti by @raf.visuals

✨ Berlinale Mode: ON! 🐻🎬

The 76th @berlinale starts today! While the stars hit the red carpet, we’re diving deep into the digital future of the industry. 🌊💻

As the owner of Industrial Motion Art, I’m looking at the "uncharted waters" of VFX. With so many new tools emerging, we’re constantly redefining what it means to create high-end visuals for cinema.

🚀 Are "heavy simulations" still the way to go? 🚀 How is the EFM Animation Days changing the game?

Read our full take on the future of VFX and its role at this year’s Berlinale in our new blog post! (Link in Bio 🔗)

Good luck to all the creators and visionaries in Berlin! Let’s keep European cinema bold, successful, and artistically ambitious. 🎥🔥

National Umbrella Day ☔️✨

From the magical bus stop in My Neighbor Totoro to the neon-lit streets of Tokyo in Lost in Translation, umbrellas are true movie icons.

We especially love The Blue Umbrella by Saschka Unseld – a film where the prop becomes the protagonist. Fun fact: despite our expertise in complex VFX water simulations, we've never actually worked on a digital umbrella shot!

Want to know how we’d tackle the challenge of photorealistic digital rain today? 🧐 Whether it's particle physics or complex shaders – drop your technical questions below and let’s dive into the workflow!

Check out our new blog post for the full story. Link in Bio! 🔗

Almost exactly a year ago, filming of the VFX scenes for the New Year's film (@orf ) was completed. Despite the tight constraints, a few fine shots were created. I would like to thank the team, especially director @barbaraweissenbeck and @filmwerkstattwien
I'll be sharing a few behind-the-scenes stories over the next few days. All the best, the @industrialmotionart Team. by @raf.visuals
