You know the drill, and THIS AIN’T IT!

🔥VZLET KRU predstavlja 🔥 DNBKonferenca 2025 🔥

🎧VIKIT
Strasten ljubitelj sinkupiranih ritmov, predvsem v okolici 174. Z vsakim naslednjim DNB komadom spoznaval nove globine žanra, najprej neurofunk (hvala Baseki), za tem jump up, soulful in nenazadnje DEEP. V slednjem se tudi najbolj domače počutim. Lepi, polni okrogli bassi in tresuče basslinije so svojevrstno čudi.

Make sure it fires like an AUTOMATIC! 🔫🔫🔫

Throwback to the absolutely MAD FMFMF party 2 weeks ago in @klub_k4. This one has gone down as one of my favourite parties EVER - had a ton of fun jamming with my mates @tsukuyomi.img, @arminegovic and @dj_vikit (slide 4), while the sudden appearance of @baba_zoprna team (whom I’m a great fan of) and their COMPLETELY unexpected gift of ultra-limited Baba Zoprna socks (slides 1 and 5) made the night even better. 😍

The very next day, I was also delighted to see that my account has reached 150 followers! Just - wow. Thank you so much, everyone!! Hope you enjoy the ride - we are just getting started. 😈 🙌

Once again, big up to the organizers @mozgani_mf and @tenzor_fmf for this phenomenal party, and of course to all the fellow attending ravers - y’all managed to make this one for the books. 🔥🫡

Rafal and VIKIt are excited to present a recording of our first proper B2B DJ set, performed at the annual (dramen)bejs picnic in August.

This mix has gone through numerous ideas, revisions, and hours of work, and we hope all of that successfully reflects in the final result. It brings together bit of both worlds—Rafal’s 140 BPM tryout and VIKIt’s smooth, soulful vibe—with deep DnB serving as the strongest common ground between our styles and, accordingly, being the most prominent subgenre in this set.

We are grateful to everyone who helped organize and bring this fantastic event to life, and, of course, to all the listeners who joined us on that late summer afternoon—and to those who are about to experience the mix for the first time! ^^

VIKIt in Rafal, signing off 🫡

Today marks one month since my dream came true—one month since the circle was completed.

It all started in 2018. I was obsessed with The Prodigy back then—the razor sharp synths, industrial drum breaks, and unfiltered vocals were the things I was all very fond of.

Then one day, while searching for their track “Smack My B***h Up” on SoundCloud, I stumbled upon a remix that changed everything. It transformed the song into something cold, mechanical, and about three times harder than anything I’d ever heard before.

Six years later, this remix by Agressor Bunx (that sent me down a rabbit hole I never climbed out of) became the closing track of my DJ set at Dvorana Gustaf, where @bass.fighters invited me to share the stage with Zardonic.

It’s been a longtime dream of mine to give back to the scene that brought so many amazing headliners to our little Maribor and created so many wonderful memories and connections. On 20th of December 2024, this dream finally came true.

Among the photos, you’ll find three video clips capturing some of my favorite moments of the night:

#1: I couldn’t have chosen a better track to start the set with if I tried. This beautiful musical journey, titled “Nomad’s Revenge” by Billain, not only sets a perfect atmosphere to kick off the night with, but also makes for a brilliant debut at a proper Bass Fighters party.

#2: This one has a cool backstory. This sick transition wouldn’t have happened without my friend’s suggestion, who, when asked if he wanted to hear anything special on a big rig, responded with “Egofeeder” by Clockvice. In the end, not only did it save a tricky transition, but it also turned into one of the best of the night!

#3: This clip, taken towards the end of my set (when I cranked up the energy a bit), features “20K” by Pegboard Nerds—a track from one of the releases that actually got me into electronic dance music. It’s great to see how, 11 years later, this track still ignites the hype!

I’ll upload the mix once it’s ready in the not-so-near future, but until then, thanks to everyone who attended, and a massive shoutout to Bass Fighters for the invite and for all these years of incredible shows and music. 🫶
