**Texas State Championship Series Update**We noticed Round 1 of the Central region was accidentally scheduled during Loretta’s, we have made a change on both the date and venue for Rd 1. Metroplex has been moved to Rd 4,Sept 19-20 and now the Central region will open at Oak Hill August 15-16. We have also added a Women’s Vet 25+ class to the schedule. IT'S GO TIME! The wait is over! The 2026 AMA Texas State Championship Series is set to kick off Round 1 on August 15-16, as the battle for a State Championship begins! This marks the 16th Annual Texas State Championship Series, and this year the stakes are higher than ever. Riders will earn points every moto, with those points carrying all the way to the State Final. Every gate drop matters. Every lap counts. Taking it back to 2009. I had a group of riders I worked with from Mississippi and one of them wanted to bring a buddy. This 15 year old redhead showed up and had the most raw speed I had ever seen and had never won. I couldnt understand how he had never won. We got to work. He won motos at spring nationals and had a showdown at Loretta’s with Malcolm Stewart and the redhead came out on top. Still kne of the most talented riders I ever got to work with. And still just as good on a bike. We had some good times through the years. @heath.harrison by @raftersmx

This was a good one. I think this was @gage_dunham_5 first championship. Myself and his mom butted heads big time throughout the summer because she thought we weren’t doing enough. Over the previous 20 plus years I had done too much, and also not done enough and had figured out the perfect mixture to have them peak at that one week at the end of July. Not overwork them. But also have them prepared to win. Yes we butted heads all summer. But we were after the same goal. Swipe to see what happens when the goal is achieved! by @raftersmx
