Open call: RAGE is a nomadic project taking the form of an act based, cabaret-style evening created in-situ by Collective Rage and the participating artists. Led by Stockholm-based circus artists Aino Ihanainen, Mirja Jauhiainen and Sarah Lett, this project is in a state of constant, rapid change, mirroring the world itself. At its core, RAGE offers a space for expression, where anger is not silenced, grief is not hidden, and hope is treated as a muscle to be trained through engagement. OBS: Paid opportunity. Artists with strong ties to the city are also welcome to apply knowing that there is no budget for transport and accommodation. What we are looking for: An act of max 7min around the themes of rage and grief. It can be a pre-existing piece or made for the occasion, experimentation is warmly welcome. Possible attendance in other acts and group scenes as well. Who can apply: Circus artists, movers, makers and activists based in and around Stockholm. Priority will be given to artists from underrepresented and marginalized communities. Where: Subtopia, Botkyrka (Loftet) When: Rehearsals: 15.-17. February (no need to be present at all time) Shows: 17th and 20th February + 1-2 preparation meetings (possibly online) How to apply: Send us an email to ragegriefhope@protonmail.com with the subject Rage Stockholm with the following: 👉 A short text about why you would like to take part in this project, what you’d like to rage on/express on stage and in what format (art form, discipline..) 👉Your cv 👉Link to video material/pictures (if possible) Deadline: October 20th We will notify everyone about the decisions by the end of October. by @rage_grief_hope
