In Harlem for the Harlem Week Festival and was surprised to see a performance by former Bad Boy Records recording artist, G Dep.

Do you remember when this song came out? 🎤🎶

WE'RE BACK‼️

Rage Against Ordinary represents a powerful, defiant stance against mediocrity and the mundane.

It's about challenging the status quo, breaking free from societal norms, and pursuing a life that is vibrant, bold, and unapologetically authentic in various aspects of life:

1. **Creativity** Encouraging individuals to think outside the box, innovate, and create art or ideas that are unique and impactful.

2. **Lifestyle** Promoting a way of life that values adventure, risk-taking, and living with passion, rather than settling for the comfort of routine.

3. **Mindset** Fostering a mentality that prioritizes personal growth, self-discovery, and the pursuit of excellence rather than complacency.

4. **Community** Building a tribe of like-minded individuals who support and inspire each other to live extraordinary lives

Who can relate?

I want to TESTIFY this Sunday. 🙏🏾 🙌🏾

When you barely earn enough MONEY to survive but you GIVE money to people who earn MORE than you.

When you DON'T have a support system but you're ALWAYS supporting other people.

When you DON'T have the educational degrees that they have but you're ALWAYS teaching them something.

When you DON'T have a business but you HELP them keep the doors of their business open.

When you can barely AFFORD a place to rest your head but you HELP them keep their luxury home in a nice neighborhood from going into foreclosure.

No support system forces people to be incredibly strong and independent.

So, I DON'T like being called a "strong person".

I know it is meant to be a compliment but it isn't really a compliment.

It's an emotional trigger that acts as reminder of past trauma and dire circumstances ahead.

This scene from the 4th episode of The Drop: A Snowfall Saga is an instant classic moment in Black television especially with male viewers.

I like this show. LA. The 90s. Hip Hop. I'm was already into it from the 1st episode.

But I wasn't ready for this scene. I was like, DAMN, girl, it's like that?!?! Hahaha

Then, I got to thinking after seeing other people's reaaction, is this scene resonating strongly with us men because it is something that speaks to our wants and needs that rarely gets portrayed in media and entertainment?

SELFCARE SUNDAY: So many are suffering quietly. They are holding on by the thinnest thread.

They're fighting secret battles with demons trying to make it to the next day and doing everything possible to stay at peace. So, it's best to LEAVE them alone!!!

To be transparent, daily, I do so many things to prevent myself from falling into a dark place.

Shoutout to the people who haven't felt okay but get up every day to do the best they can because they refuse to quit.

Well said, 🎥 by TT: Tytianna

Is America "great" yet? 🇺🇲 🤔🙃

Let's be real, the current US Dictator is a major f*ck up.

High has prices, high tariffs
PBS defunded, massive layoffs, major news outlets banned from the White House, etc.

After I left the movie theater in NYC, I jumped on the PATH train back to Jersey and stopped at the Grove Street station in Jersey City to check out the All About Downtown street festival.

This festival was about 12 blocks long plus side streets too.

The DJ outside of the Grove station was playing 80s and 90s music. When I arrived he was playing old school freestyle, Let The Music Play and Give Me Tonight by Shannon (1984).

I got a crab cake burger, a Haitian chocolate chip cookie and a heavy vodka yet refreshing cocktail named The Word. I stayed about an hour.
