My recent trip to Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary was truly memorable. I was fortunate to photograph some real rarities—Jerdon’s Baza, Collared Falconet, Rufous Hornbill, and the striking Dollarbird. To make it even more exciting, I captured many of these in the middle of the rain, which added a special mood to the images.

All images are shot using the Nikon Z8 with the NIKKOR Z 600mm f/4 TC VR S.

What really stood out to me was how comfortable and reliable my @reccyoutdoors gear felt throughout the trip. The dry-fit shirt kept me cool and comfortable during the treks, while the water-repellent trousers were a lifesaver when the rain picked up.
