Hey friends,

We’ve got some sad/exciting news to give you all. This Friday’s gig at the Retreat Hotel will be one of our last shows for the foreseeable future, and our last show in Victoria for the time being. We will still play Snake in the Grass fest in nth NSW.

Aidan’s taken up a fantastic opportunity to teach in a remote community in the NT, and we as a band have decided this’ll be a good chance for us to take a break from the Mobies.

It won’t be the end, as we’ve got a few things planned, & will continue to work on recording music. But after 8 years of shows, recordings, Covid etc., we’re looking forward to a bit of a rest.

Thanks everyone for the love and support you’ve shown us through the years, we feel really privileged to have done the things we’ve done as a band, and we’ve had a solid group of friends, family and fans behind us from day one.

So come on down to the Retreat Hotel this Friday the 5th of April for a farewell show of sorts. We look forward to catching you there.

Love you all,

This Friday! We’re back at @tanswellshotel . We’ve curated a fun lineup to make it a party.

‘Mature Themes’ have been making noise in the Naarm/Melb scene with their ecstatic live shows. Think 90’s rock n roll with psychedelic & krautrock influences.
@maturethemes__

‘Luke CVR’ has kept the crowd dancing at Tanswells before. With a deep love of music & vinyl collecting, he takes you on a journey while you move your body. Over the years he’s made noise DJing around Naarm, playing with some of the worlds finest DJ’s, & playing festivals. You might also know him from his radio segment ‘Tepid Rhythm’.
@luke.cvr

‘The Remedy Man’ is keeping Disco alive. Another music enthusiast & vinyl collector. Recently migrating to Victoria, The Remedy Man is a fun boogie that’s known for his dancefloor burners.
