**Exploring Ancient Corinth, Greece. 🇬🇷**

Once one of the most powerful and prosperous cities of the ancient Greek world, Corinth stood at the crossroads of trade, culture, and civilization.

From its Greek foundations to its transformation under Roman rule, the city witnessed centuries of history, destruction, and rebirth.

During our visit, we explored the remains of its ancient streets, monumental architecture, intricate sculptures, and centuries-old inscriptions — fragments of a civilization that still has countless stories to tell.

Every stone holds a piece of history. Every ruin invites us to look deeper.

🏛️ **The Ancient Agora of Megalopolis — Arcadia, Greece.**

More than 2,300 years ago, this was the heart of a city built upon an ambitious vision: the unification of Arcadia.

A place where people gathered, ideas were exchanged, and decisions shaped the future of an entire region.

Today, silence has replaced the voices of the past. Yet beneath the ruins, the story of Megalopolis remains.

🔥 **History is never truly lost. It waits to be rediscovered.**

Just another day in Arkasa… ancient stone, hidden caves, and traces of a past that still sits quietly in the landscape.

For locals, places like this are almost part of everyday life. For us, they’re reminders that Karpathos still has stories hiding in plain sight.

Prometheus Society — follow the traces. 🔥 by @ragnar.the.bard

Walking where the landscape still keeps its secrets. 🔥
Between stone, silence and forgotten paths, every step reveals another layer of Karpathos — one that most visitors never see.

Hidden in the rugged landscape of Menetes, a silent monument has endured for centuries.

Sarcophagus — Kouri, Menetes.

Carved into the stone, overlooking the ancient landscape of Karpathos. From the ground, it can easily disappear into the terrain. From above, its presence becomes clear.

Another fragment of the island’s past, still standing where history left it.

We keep exploring.
We keep documenting.
We keep the stories alive.

Once the **largest theatre in ancient Greece**, the Ancient Theatre of Megalopolis could host around 18,000–20,000 people.

It was not just a place of performance. It was a monumental symbol of one of the most important cities of ancient Arcadia.

Today, very little of that greatness is still visible.

For almost two decades, restoration and conservation works have been taking place here. And yet, this is the image we see today: scattered remains, dismantled sections, and a monument that is increasingly difficult to even recognize as the enormous theatre it once was.

We understand that restoration takes time.

But after so many years, it is fair to ask:

**Is this really the best we can do for what was once the greatest theatre of the ancient Greek world?**

This is not an accusation.
It is simply the reality we saw with our own eyes.

And sometimes, the image speaks louder than any explanation.

My new single “Before the Beginning” is finally out. 🌌🎸

My take on one of my favourite John Frusciante songs, recorded with a lot of love and respect for the original.

Out now on Spotify and all major platforms.

Hope you enjoy the journey. 🪐

Above the ancient landscape of **Lefkos — or “Lefkosia,” as Dr. Manolis Melas refers to it —** the drone descends toward caves carved into a place with a history far older than the lives that surround them today.

Through the centuries, these spaces were reused, altered and incorporated into pastoral life. Some now carry the marks of modern intervention — walls, storage, animal use, smoke, concrete and damage that slowly obscure what came before.

For Prometheus Society, places like these are not simply ruins.

They are fragments of a landscape still waiting to be documented, understood and protected.
