I woke up with the idea to draw Lincoln. After I drew him, I googled if this date is significant in regards to Lincoln and Google says:

October 17th is significant in Abraham Lincoln's legacy for two major presidential actions taken during the American Civil War: [1]

October 17, 1863 — The Call for 300,000 Volunteers: President Lincoln issued Proclamation 107, a formal and urgent call for 300,000 additional volunteers to join the Union Army. This was a critical moment in the war, as the initial three-year enlistment terms for many soldiers who joined in 1861 were about to expire. [1]

October 17, 1862 — Supreme Court Nomination: Exactly one year earlier, Lincoln nominated David Davis of Illinois to serve as an Associate Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court. Davis was a close friend and Lincoln's former campaign manager who went on to write the landmark Ex parte Milligan decision after the war. [1]

(Note: If you are thinking of his famous speech denouncing the morality of slavery in Peoria, Illinois, that happened just one day earlier on October 16, 1854 taken in EARTH by @rah922021

Teaching myself how to draw this kind of perspective. I don't know any tricks with this type of thing to establish the proper angles. I kind of like not getting it right because it makes it feel more like art and less like architecture but I do respect people who can actually do this properly. And that is not to say that architecture is not art, it just isn't the kind of art I am generally interested in. taken in Bulgaria by @rah922021
