Over the years, I realized something. Birthdays are not just our special day. It's the day our parents lived something wordless too. The day they became parents for the first time.

This birthday, I picked up the phone and called my Mom first. Not to say happy birthday to me but to say, Mom, this day is yours too. The day you held me for the first time, the day you became a mother, that feeling you had, I can never fully understand it. But I want you to know, I see it now. So thank you, Mom. For this day. For me.

Maybe I realized it too late, maybe it was always my selfish thought that birthdays are mine, that everyone should come to me with love and wishes. But this year, something shifted in me. And I'm grateful for that shift. The only thing that made me sad, I'm 3000 miles away from my Mom and all I wanted was just to hug her tight and give her all the kisses.

So first, thank you Umma and Uppa. For raising me the way you did. I always heard people come to my parents and say it, "Aah, two girls only ah? What will you do?" like it was something to be worried about, something less. But my parents? They just smiled. Never once bothered. And my Uppa, every single time, replied with nothing but pure pride. "Not just girls. 2 pulikkuttikal aanu. Nokkikko."

I'm feeling that Pulikutty Power now, Uppa. I really am. Even if you're not here to see it, I know you already knew.

To the ones who think my timeline is running out because I'm not married yet, you'll never understand the feeling I carry right now. I am so happy I had this time. Time to find myself, to know myself, to become myself. Bold, independent, strong, self-sufficient. And I say that with pride, because it took years to build this version of me.

Every girl deserves this freedom. The time to explore who she is, before stepping into the next responsible chapter of her life.

And to everyone who has been part of my journey, thank you for finding happiness with me. And to those who are no longer in my life, thank you too. You helped shape who I am today.

This is my birthday. And I've never felt more me✨

A rescheduled flight gave me the perfect Newyear start✨

I had planned to spend New Year’s Eve in Qatar, choosing a 16-hour layover on December 31 while traveling back to Berlin from Kochi. But my flight was rescheduled, and I had to cancel those plans and travel early on January 1 instead. Once again, the flight was overbooked, and I had to reschedule.

What I received in return was this breathtaking sunrise in Vagamon. A gentle reminder that God’s plan is always more beautiful than ours.

Chasing you was my dream ,a dream that doesn’t visit me in sleep, but stays with me when I’m awake.
This time, I couldn’t fulfill it because the sky was covered in clouds and rain.
For days, I wandered across different parts of Lapland, searching for you ,but you weren’t ready to show yourself to me.
I caught glimpses of your colors through my camera, yet not with my bare eyes, and that broke my heart a little.
I knew you were there, hiding behind the clouds, teasing me with your faint glow from afar.
I can only say I’m 10% satisfied ,because this wasn’t the dream I’ve always carried.
It’s never easy or affordable to come find you, but no matter what, I’ll keep chasing you…
until the day I finally see your magical dance with my own eyes.

Finnish Adventure Day 2 – Helsinki

Helsinki welcomed me with soft rain and a calm, small-city charm. The sky was cloudy, the streets quiet, and there was something soothing about the way the city slowed down under the drizzle.

Walking by the port side felt almost magical the sight of the flywheel turning, the mist rising off the sea, and the cold breeze carrying the scent of salt and rain. I warmed myself with a bowl of fresh salmon soup from a little seaside shop, simple but heart-filling, comforting in its own authentic Finnish way.

A rainy day, yet peaceful. A city quiet yet full of soul.
Memories made slowly, gently and perfectly.
