There are so many things I could pick apart about this videos, things you can see and things you can’t.

But for once, every time I watch it, I’m choosing to focus on the Raheem from five years ago. The Raheem from junior high. The kid who looked in the mirror and genuinely believed he’d never lose the weight, never have muscles to flex, and never be proud of what he saw.

I believed in myself. I pushed myself. I earned every bit of this.
