Starting with Midnight Tiger: Origins tpb in March 2024. Deciding now which one-shot is first-Sky-King Horus or Zombie Eater. There is also a Studio Skye-Tiger Staff book in the works as we speak that will showcase the artists currently available through the studio. I’ve been a busy li’l bee behind the scenes at @archiecomics working on this beauty of a comic in conjunction with none other than the one and only SHAQUILLE O’NEAL. It’s got pirates, action, and romance—what more could you need? But in all seriousness, this series is so profound and the story is so important, I really hope everyone gives it a shot. It’s not just swashbuckling adventure, it’s a story about perseverance, community, and rising up against oppression, based on the mythological hero Black Caesar and his transformation from an African king into a feared outlaw of the Caribbean. And I couldn’t be more honored to have the amazing @steph_i_will give voice to this poignant tale. I’ve been admiring her work from not-so-afar for years and I’m so glad to get the chance to see her genius up close. Speaking of genius, the inimitable @raheightcomics and @studioskyetigercomics have been consistently wowing me with the art they’ve been creating for this. Breathtaking doesn’t even begin to describe it. And of course, I couldn’t imagine doing any of this without Art Director extraordinaire @vinstergram23! Thanks so much to @comicbookclublive for debuting these gorgeous covers from @raheightcomics @studioskyetigercomics @sotocolor @mattrobot and @jamaliglecomics.
