I am so freaking greatful that I have the thing that I deem to be the most valueable - time.
Living and breathing experiences on my own terms, is something I will never stop being greatful for

2023 was filled with soulful people,ecstatic experiences,breath taking moments, mind expanding learnings.

Thankyou to each and everyone who has been a part of my life last year, and has helped me be a better version of myself. It’s honestly super ineffable

Arts DAO is just getting started….

Although we are going to hit the 5 year mark this year (holy moly) it’s just been the beginning

The greatest chapter hits in a few months

I wanted to replicate the oscar selfie (don’t say it…I know..)

I honestly believe a whole generation learned how to express human emotion through @linkinpark music.

Especially in Asia and the Middle East,
it wasn’t just a band it was a movement.

Linkin Park amplified western music into places where a whole generation found themselves in the lyrics, bonded over the same emotions, and, for many, picked up music as a way to cope, express, and survive being a teenager (you know the classic phase I am talking about)

I remember when they came to Abu Dhabi back when I was in school , none of us could afford to attend it because it was part of the F1 experience

I was gutted when Chester passed away, and always regretted not being able to see them but was able to change that yesterday !!!

Every 90s kid stood in that crowd with goosebumps all over…

Me and my friends had waited 20 years to witness this after they decided to come back with a new singer, and it was an experience of a lifetime by @rahimmahtab

A snippet from a 5-minute daily episode reflecting on the past year.

I feel the older we get the more big chapters we complete , it starts to become harder to benchmark what does a “good year” really look like

Do we always have to take some insane big or adventurous steps to count them ? What if ur goals just need more time, are we counting the year as wasted because you didn’t get to achieve them on short time frames

I am so insanely greatful and lucky for the many beautiful moments I had in 2025, so many experiences , so many stories that all will be of the Rahim lore !!

And I feel it in my bones 2026 is going to be even more amazing , from the tiny moments to the big ones too
LFG !!!

These are just random bursts of thoughts I started this series of daily episodes (currently on episode 143 that I post on X) thought with everyone sharing their year in review maybe we take a different perspective taken in Dubai by @rahimmahtab

The idea was to be a nobody in Amsterdam

A place, a moment where I could align myself with some of my creative thoughts , focus on my my work which I am extremely passionate about and spend time being present like truly present

I am extroverted by nature and usually my travels are filled with social endeavors and tons of crazy experiences but having moments to embody introvertism is always a fascinating idea, because I am able to channel that energy in different internal areas.

I believe we are often playing some sort of role in life , based on our environments whether it’s in our personal life or professional ones and every once in a while you need to do something to make you play those roles better , and that something needs to come from a place of self evolution

Token 2049 Dubai was a movie….

My favorite part about what I do is meeting people from all over the world.

One of the best ways to grow is by hearing as many stories and perspectives as possible - it brings us closer to the truth of the human experience

From career, relationships, self development you name it

Building @artsdao and doing everything else I do in web3 has been such an exciting and life embracing experience because we as an industry are the epitome of what ambition and change means from a methodical systems pov.

The fact we come together from around the world with this crazy ridiculous ambition to change financial systems and what decentralization and ownership means, and bounce ideas between each other whether you are a builder or a creator irl is my favourite bit about the space

I picked up guitar 7 weeks ago because of my work, listening to live podcasts, educational articles etc

This is a bit of a long story about picking new skills/ multitasking if anyone is interested

A lot of my work requires constant everyday education

I would spend time listening to twitter spaces and listen to podcasts often. I was heavily invested in education but felt i should optimize my time better. I would do some chores but realized i needed something else.

I am 31 years old, i often here people struggle to pick up new skills or have the time to do it as they grow older. The discpline the motivation isnt there or just the neuro plasticity to do it. If you know me you know i hate the idea of putting people in boxes, i feel it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy. I have always enjoyed learning new things

So i was like let me break this down
- lets pick a skill i am deeply passionate about
- something i can do regularly
- something that doesnt require a lot of preperation to began doing so (driving somewhere, setting up something)
- something thats phyisically next to me
