𝙃𝙚𝙧 𝙇𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚 𝙎𝙝𝙖𝙙𝙤𝙬

On this International Tiger Day 2025, I share one of my most cherished moments from the wild.

In the heart of Ranthambore, tigress T-111, lovingly known as Shakti, calmly called out—and within moments, this tiny cub, just 2–3 months old, appeared and ran straight to her. What followed was a heart-melting display of love, protection, and bonding.

I was blessed to witness and film this rare interaction—a bold mother and her little shadow in the wild.

With just around 3,950 tigers left in the wild, every sighting is precious, and every effort to protect them is vital. Let’s continue to raise awareness, celebrate their beauty, and support their conservation. 🐅💚

Some sightings stay with you forever. While searching for the elusive Black Panther in Manas, we decided to explore the magical forests of Royal Manas National Park, Bhutan. On our way back to Assam, nature rewarded us with one of my dream species—the magnificent male Wreathed Hornbill. A rare encounter, an unforgettable moment, and a memory I'll cherish for a lifetime.

Some places are explored, while others are experienced. The Sundarbans is one of them.
Witnessing a Royal Bengal Tiger swimming through the rain-soaked mangroves on my very first visit was a moment I'll never forget. WW2Hours of waiting, unpredictable weather, and relentless searching faded away the instant this magnificent predator emerged from the mysterious waterways.
The Sundarbans is far more than just a tiger destination. Its rich birdlife, unique mangrove ecosystem, and raw wilderness make it one of India's most fascinating landscapes. Having travelled across many of India's incredible wildlife destinations, this magical jungle has earned a special place in my heart. A place that keeps calling you back.

A Moment Earned, Not Given. 🐆

Some frames define your passion, patience, and purpose. This was one of those moments.
Rajaji never disappoints. As this beautiful leopard cub quietly crossed the rocky riverbed beneath the bridge, I happened to spot it just in time. Staying alert in the field made all the difference, and in a matter of seconds, this hard-earned frame was captured.
Wildlife photography isn't just about luck—it's about showing up, waiting, and being ready when nature rewards you.
This one is my triumph. 💪🏻

A special encounter with one of Southeast Asia's most elusive forest dwellers — the Mouse Deer (Chevrotain). Tiny, shy, and incredibly secretive, this beautiful species is rarely seen in the dense forests of Kaeng Krachan National Park, Thailand.
Moments like these remind us that wildlife expeditions are not always about the biggest predators; sometimes the smallest creatures leave the biggest impressions.

"𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙍𝙚𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙉𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙂𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙐𝙥"

15 days.

3 AM wake-ups. Rain. Mud. Exhaustion. Hours and hours of waiting in the forests of Manas.

Every day we hoped the elusive black leopard cubs would appear. Every day the jungle tested our patience.

Then came the jokes...

"You spent 15 days for a black cat?"

Absolutely not.

We came for the ghosts of the forest.

And when these incredible black leopard cubs finally appeared, every sleepless morning and every disappointing day suddenly became worth it.

Wildlife doesn't reward impatience. It rewards those willing to wait.

And sometimes, the reward is unforgettable.

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙤𝙢 𝙤𝙛 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙨 🖤

Seven days in Manas.
Rain, exhaustion, silence, and endless waiting.
Every morning started at 3 AM with one hope — to witness the black panther.
We arrived late. The mother and cubs had already disappeared. Day after day, disappointment followed us through the forest.
Then one afternoon, just when hope was fading, our guide received a call.
A male black panther had been spotted briefly on a tree.
We rushed to the location. Nearly 50 meters away, hidden deep within the dense canopy, stood the phantom of Manas.
Only for a few seconds.
Before disappearing back into the jungle forever.
This frame may not be perfect.
But the story behind it means everything to me.
