“I love you dolly” ~ Grandpa Marvin
My grandpa. My shoulder to cry on. My place of peace.
Life is too short, but it became reality to me way too early. My Grandpa peacefully passed away July 3rd, 2026, 11 days after our birthday. This cowboy left such an impact on so many lives and will forever be mourned. He was the most selfless man you could ever meet, no matter who you were if you needed help he would be there. Every memory I got to experience with him will always be cherished. His endless jokes, vibrant smile, contagious laugh, but most important his welcoming arms to a big, bright heart. I would give anything to laugh with him one more time about something so silly. It’s heartbreaking having someone so special get taken away way too early, especially if he meant so much to you. I looked forward to the things I don’t even know how to do because I knew I would be able to do it with him. Every horse ride, every chore, every meal, every conversation with him brought me closer and closer to him each time. As his final weeks began approaching I was in denial, his hard working soul slowly began to rest. I have never felt such a deep pain of loosing someone that meant so much to me. My birthdays won’t ever be the same but I know you will be above helping me blow out those candles. My forever cowboy I love you infinitely. ❤️🪽 by @raiceelynn
