People often ask how it’s possible to get married and still love the same person more and more each day.

The truth is, saying “I love you” is easy when everything is going well. It’s easy when life feels exciting, when you’re both in a good mood 😂 it seems like nothing can go wrong.

But love is truly tested when life isn’t going the way you planned. When you’re exhausted, frustrated. When stress starts piling up. When both of you are carrying more than you think you can handle.

Real love is choosing each other anyway.

It’s choosing to stay instead of walking away. To be patient instead of reacting. To become teammates instead of opponents. To remind each other that it’s the two of you against the problem not against each other.

This birthday reminded me of exactly that.

My wife went out of her way to make me feel loved even when we’re struggling. It wasn’t about how much was spent or how grand the celebration was it was the thought, the effort, and the love behind every little detail that made it memorable.

Thankyou bb for reminding me that the greatest gift isn’t the celebration itself, but having someone who continues to choose you every single day.

I’m beyond grateful to call you my wife. 🤍

21st March 2026. Our first Aidilfitri together after marriage and my first raya with a kampung to go to since i was a small kid. It was such an amazing 'balik kg' experience. Alhamdulillah. I'm so grateful for everything that i have gotten in life, especially her. Life has been so colourful since i met her and i can't wait for the next one.
