Slowing things down for a change. Our days always consist of the two of us running around non-stop, and our reels usually reflect the chaos of what it feels to live a day in our life. After our long summer break we did a lot of reflecting and decided that we need to slow things down drastically in all aspects of life. I filmed this reel 11 months ago and opted not to post it on our feed because it’s not contracting related. Since then Steph and I have really started to evolve our style and we’re leaning more into our creative selves. I personally have always been a deep lover of film and I want to explore that love of mine beyond bathroom renovation reels. It’s why Steph and I changed our business name to Raido. It means “the transformative nature of life’s journey” We’re both multifaceted people and want to lean more into our creative nature. I don’t care if this reel gets 10 views and zero likes. This is a pretty good representation of what our summer looked like.

Steph and I took July and August off to simply enjoy ourselves. Neither of us had done anything like that since we were kids. Having that time gave us a chance to slow down, spend more time in nature, find joy in the little things, and honestly, just have fun again.

And of course, Mr. Myles was by our side every step of the way. ❤️

I know not everyone gets the opportunity to take a large chunk of the summer off, but I really hope you found some time for yourself too, whatever that looked like.

And for the record, I practically lived in these Blåkläder Solano pants all summer. I don’t think I’ve ever loved a pair of pants this much. 😂 They’re lightweight, flexible, ridiculously comfortable, and those side vents are an absolute lifesaver on hot days.

They genuinely feel like wearing pants with the freedom of shorts.
